The zoo has a lot of differents Animals, the white tiger is the best and the giraffe.I have been there many times and enjoy most of them.The only advice to give is dont go and the temperature is over 35 CelsiusIts not comfortable and the animals do hide from the heat.. recommend 💫

Amazing. A day experience for the family. The truck safari and few other activities wasn’t available due to COVID19 restrictions. Still we had great time and saw some rare animals like the white tiger and others.Recommend to visits when the weather is cool for two reasons, you’ll be tired from the beginning if it’s hot and the animals will be napping most of the time until late in the afternoon.

Very good experience. Very long and specious zoo. Basically it’s a wild life park than a normal zoo. Drive through was an amazing experience. We can’t see plenty of animal around . However, walking through the zoo will give an amazing experience and feel.

A popular go-to place in Al Ain. A whole day is needed just to observe the magnificent to tiny creatures on the desert land, with regular highlights of many types of animals and birds. Every an hour average train is available inside for passing different locations. The Zoo is very clean and well organized.

Very calm place, well maintained and very difficult to cover whole zoo in 4 hours, its a whole day activity so plan accordingly.

Huge place. Paid 33aed for the entrance and if you want to feed giraffe youll need to pay extra 35aed. I had a good time with the baby hippo, he was trying to show off. And theres one bird that was funny and started following us. It was fun theres also a tiny park for kids inside if they want to play.

Well maintained zoo however there are few vacant cages with no animals due to COVID. Flamingos are the highlight of the zoo. They look very beautiful in the middle of the desert. Amazing place to hangout for the families.

Excellent zoo with pristine grounds and really healthy and happy looking animals. Definitely worth doing the safari trip and feeding the giraffes from the sun roof of the SUV. Seeing my mum covered in giraffe dribble was the highlight of my day 😂. Right now the place is almost a ghost town which is really sad. It’s well set up for social distancing so don’t be afraid to go and have a great day out with the family.

Amazing staff!!! They were generous and upgraded our reservation to a private Safari when they knew we had a pregnant lady to make sure the ride was safe for her, the driver/guide made sure to drive very carefully and slowly.Highly recommend to book the safari your food a close up to the animals and feeding the giraffe

The view and scenery was amazing but the zoo and the animals itself arent. They had to add up animals and atleast feed them properly oops.

Great place to see the wild animals, best for photography. Ideal to go during winter (Nov - Feb) so that animals will be out of their shelters.

There are a number of places to eat and relax, plenty of grass and shaded areas. There is a substantial amount of walking required if you choose to walk yourself around, but you can hire buggies or VIP carts (book well in advance for the VIP cart!).The diversity and standard is good, and the location is great (not far from most hotels in Al Ain). There is easily enough for a full-day. If you have young children, plan out the most important parts you want to see!Go early, move around before midday and see as much as you can, as the heat (12pm - 4pm) of the day tends to cause the animals to get sleepy in the afternoon! There are more exhibits opening, so we will likely be back.

Great day to spend a bright cooling day. Park is very clean and wide selection of animal exhibits. Seen lots of people bringing cooler boxes and picnic mats to picnic in the sprawling gardens around the exhibits.The bird/penguin park needs better upkeep though. Quite rank in there.The children’s maze also needs upkeep. Overgrown grass almost to adult knee height so one wonders if there may be snakes nestled within?? 🤔Do not miss the SZDLC. The architecture within is a delightful surprise. It feels fluidic and whimsy with a modern bright twist.Parking is ample and free.

Amazing wildlife showcase here in the UAE. Will definitely visit it again in another season!

Al Ain Zoo is a MARVELOUS experience for all ages! Staff are warm and welcoming.We spent five hours enjoying the expansive collection of nature at its best.The Safari tour gives participants the opportunity to interact with animals in their native settings. Definitely rates the Should not be missed category of top spots to visit in the UAE!

We had a fantastic day at Al Ain Zoo. We were able to get very close to the animals and they were very active. We found ourselves amazed at how active the animals were and how much they wanted to interact with the public. It was also surprising how few people were there. At some stages we could not see any other people. This is one of the best Zoo experiences we have ever had. Look at my photos. It was brilliant!

They will drive you near to the animals. If you book a private car they will take you near to the tigers and lions.As its easy for them to drive.It has wide range of animals.They created the safari like Real Land for them its artificially build jungle with trees and rocks like African safari.Its a great experience.Largest man made safari 👌🥰

Al Ain Zoo is a must visit place with family and kids. This has a very large area which we can spend one full day inside zoo. This place is very clean and neat. My daughter enjoyed feeding Giraffe. Entry fee is there which is very much affordable. Environment in this zoo is very pleasant.

Its also known as Al Ain Wildlife Park.Al Ain Zoo is one of the biggest Zoo in Region.Visited with family, It was sunny cold December day as usual. 🇦🇪We only saw about a third of the Zoo, and it had lots of fun to keep kids interested. There is a mix of indoor and outdoor enclosures, as well as a good range of playgrounds and picnic spots. reasonable food cafes. There are 5 major points, Zoo offering paid Shuttle that moves you one points to another.

Best place for kids and families but avoid during extreme summer.

Went on a weekday. Very few people!Animals are sleeping when we got there, it’s around 12 and we stayed for 3 hours.We got a deal on Groupon for two for one discounts!

If you are planning your visit i recommend you to go early. The opening hours are 10 to 6 now. You will see all animals outside at that time. After 2PM the animals mostly are asleep and you will see only minimal animals.

Had a wonderful experience by visiting the Al Ain Zoo..It must be one of the important attractions in the Abu Dhabi emirate and United Arab Emirates.Hippopotamus and crocodile sanctuary is awesome, we can experience the underwater life as well as the land life of the Hippos and crocodiles.. Giraffe feeding is the best experience for children.Shaikh Zayed Desert centre is one of its kind Ive ever experience in UAE.I love the experience in Al Ain Zoo..

Was an amazing experience. But I recommend going during winter.

Not the best place to go during summer. DUBAI Safari Park is equipped with a lot of mist fans which gives some level of comfort during summer. Staffs were not very friendly either. There was one cleaning staff laying in the ground and smoking where kids stay to see the animals and he was not bothered at all seeing my 5 and 7 year old kids and continues to smoke in style laying down.

The zoo can be better maintained, especially the glass window to be cleaned frequently so that the visitors can see animals clear.Another thing i have noticed during the summer time visit is that the zoo need more tree shades for Big cat and the resting place for animal to be in a place where the visitors can see the animals but unfortunately it is located some where far from the visitors visibility.Need to upgrade a lot.You can do better, as you collect an entrance fees about 30dhs.Expecting more animals, different trees and plants.

Definitely one of the biggest zoo I have ever seen. Once you reach they have huge parking space which is free but in case you need valet service you can use that as well. The entrance is nice and buying ticket is smooth process. They are strict on timings and they open at 10 am and close at 6 pm. They have multiple options to buy starting from general admission to VIP ticket, annual ticket, family annual ticket, safari ticket, SUV safari etc. You can choose whichever is best for you. The general admission is around 30 AED for adults and around 10 AED for kids between 3 to 12 years. Kids below 3 years enter free. When you buy ticket they also give you a map which will help you navigate else it is very difficult to find the correct spots unless you have anyone to guide you where to go.They have maintained the zoo very well and the appearance is also good giving it the feel of a forest with trees and water bodies everywhere however, the zoo doesnt have much animals to attract people. You will be tired walking but then will see very less number of animals. And especially if you are late and visit the zoo in the afternoon then most of the animals are sleeping and you will surely miss a lot of animals. Some of the places are empty and still there are no animals. You hav train every 25 minutes and if you can stand in the queue and wait for the train then you can have a free ride inside the zoo. I had been to Emirates Zoo in Abudhabi and honestly when I compare both, Al Ain Zoo is not that great.

Summer is not the time to visit... most of the animals are inactive.. carry enough water & hat or sun protector caps...Bird show was good.. vast area.. huge zoo

Though weather is flaming hot, me and friends enjoyed our stay at the Aviary..just wish to have more species of bird.

Simply one of the best Zoos on MENA region. Al Ain Zoo is totally entertaining to the kids and kids at heart like me. Opening hours is from 10pm to 6am recently with ticket prices of 31.5aed for adults and 10.5aed for kids. Kids under 3 gets a free ticket too. If it is summer you should opt to have the Safari ticket that cost 210aed or the cool safari SUV that cost 1050aed for 6 guests (You rent a cool nissan patrol safari themed SUV with your guide).Dont forget to bring your camera or phones with good zoom capability. Enjoy!

Great zoo, really excellent facilities and animals appear really well cared for and happy. The bird house is gigantic and lots of penguins!

Zoo is big no doubt, but not more animals, directions are not defined proper or easy taking buggy i believe is not fun and it is expensive as well , in this size i belive it can be one of the best zoo, need to plan excellent,Over all it was very dull there was no excitement.Also it was mentioned online outside food not allowed and on entrance security lady was looking in our luggage however when we went inside we saw many families eating rice mandi all home made food and in big quantity, how come we dont know security need to treat all guest equally there should not be any discrimination.Well zoo owner should plan events, cage , and animals differently to be one of the bestAll the best.Thanks

My third time visiting AlAin zoo and has never failed to surprise me..very good management of zoo from parking to exit ..penguins and birdhouse were a new addition from the last time I visited ..children’s park and play area was good .. a lot of greenery around..children’s love this place

This is probably the best zoo in the United Arab Emirates and the entire Gulf region, with very modern facilities, convenient signs that allow to identify where you are at any moment in time and lead you to the desired locations. All animals are very well maintained and looked after. It is a very safe place where all possible safety measures are thought of and implemented. I definitely recommend visiting this place

The zoo has developed many ways of interesting kids. It has a lot of greenery around which helps the inhabitants maintain temperature. Try to go in on a Friday morning to avoid huge crowd. You will enjoy the walk

The best Zoo in arabic world i guess, has most of the animals, but it is 2nd time we couldnt see the Rhino. And good news is that they should bring the koala 🐨 soon.BTW on groupon there is discount for entry tickets.

Very good place for family and kids. Although it is very hot these days, keep yourself cooled down by the slushy, juices and water. New hippopotamus area, giraffe feeding and white lions are amazing. Dessert safari and shuttle services are way too expensive @60 per pax. Overall its a good experience. Its a very big space, so reach earlier to see all exhibits.

Awesome place for kids and adults too who loves to explore wildlife . Animals are kept very nicely and can be spotted easily. Huge area to cover . Loved the cart system. There is a cafeteria inside the zoo which is really good just a bit time taking. Would recommend this place .

Enjoyed a lot this place. Its definitely must visit for all. Most of the big cares and big animals were there however I could not find few as expected. Better to follow map and you can find it in zoo also. Take snapshot of map to follow.Season : Per my experience not recommended in summers because most of the big cats will be in their cage to avoid sunlight so October and March month is perfect for this.Timing to enter: better to enter before 12PM noon to avoid rush in queues and hassle in parking.Almost all big cats were in a sleepy mode, and the crocodile and hippo in water with glass covered was a nice experience. Penguins were also a visual treatWhat to carry in zoo: It is better to have an umbrella to escape from sun.Few restaurant s are inside where you can get Indian briyani or fried rice or burgers or biscuits or soft drinks.So , no problem for the food.You can even bring your own food and sit at the back of your car and eat. Water bottles are allowed. Inside the zoo also you will only find shops with drinkable items and ice-cream but no food and biscuits.Golf cart : can be hired after entering the zoo. One more queue to take tickets and 1 more queue to sit in the cart. Golf cart ride can be taken if kids are with you else its recommended to cover all the points on feet.Parking: easily available but may be a problem in weekends.

Infrastructure is getting better... Most of the cages and blocks were empty with no animals... But still I Understand ....Overall the zoo was empty & blank but still the service from the staffs was very bad,like a crowded day.. They treated me and my family like they never wanted visitors at zoo.

I genuinely enjoyed being there, the zoo is very big and I walked for about 9 kilometers.. And I could have walked more, the zoo consists of almost most of the species around the globe.. But I dont recommend visiting the zoo from 1 to 4 pm. .as most of the animals are sleeping by that time

One of the biggest zoos in the middle east, all the animals look healthy and enjoying even in captivity, a diverse collection of animals, we really enjoyed, amazing zoo. Parking spaces are available and many of them. The park is really big but there are shuttles and trains between each exhibition, so be sure to take one to save energy.

The zoo has extended and visitor has new entrance.Birds show you must watch @ 5:00. This is very good.Equipped with lot of animals. But sometime you will be unlucky to see them when they are hiding / sleeping.Train facility available free of charge, and it is very crowded. Also club car available with charges.They should remove the route. Route is not in order. And finally after finish everything have to return for the staring point.

Huge zoo, perfect for walking and enjoying for family and friends. Unless you start early in the morning is difficult to cover the whole zoo in a single visit. You can bring your own food for a picking.

Biggest zoo of UAE. Reaching there is a journey in itself if coming from outside Abu Dhabi. Ample parking. Can get a discount price when getting tickets from Groupon. Just take voucher print along. Will take full day to tour completely if visiting with family. Decent collection of animals and birds. Some attractions are forthcoming which would make it even more worthwhile. Unfortunately some areas are closed due to covid restrictions. Check out the experiences to enjoy better. Some experiences are free, some are not. Can carry water and some eatables. Bicycles also available on rent inside. Free train transport available inside from fixed spots. Special cars also available for a fee to ease your travel. But best travelling on foot. Its suggested to check out all the animal exhibits first, then watch the free Bird show, and then check out the Zayed learning centre. Although zoo opens till 8 or 9 ok, but makes it difficult to check out some animals in dark. Definitely visiting again after new attractions are added.
