Santa is the best tailor in town! The clothes Santa makes are stitched well, good quality and excellent fit and finished in a timely manner. I been going to him for 5 years and has never disappointed me.

Incredibly rude & unprofessional. There are plenty of skilled and polite tailors in Abu Dhabi. I wouldn’t waste my time.

We have used Orchid Tailors for alterations and repairs since we arrived in Abu Dhabi 9 years ago. Service is brilliant, Santa and the team are so nice and the quality of their work is exemplary. I really cant understand the negative service reviews here, suspect more to do with the customer than Orchid. Highly recommended

Nice tailoring shop with good reputation

These guys are fantastic. They made me an Indian Sari from a roll of fabric and it turned out great! I trust them with even the more expensive items. Quality work at a reasonable price. Customer service is great, too. Santa and his son are lovely people.

I don’t usually write reviews, but after my experience today felt that it should be said. After reading a few recommendations online about this tailor in making clothes, went to check if they would be able to produce me items such as pants,shirts and dress. It was complete waste of time as the man (who isn’t Santa, which I’m not sure works there anymore) - wouldn’t even speak to us properly. He didn’t even greet us upon entering, and when tried to begin asking him whether they make certain items, he was mostly ignoring us, and I mean straight up ignoring like not even replying to us ! He would only reply with “not interested” “don’t want” .... ? What does that even mean ? I asked him if he doesn’t want, why are they even a tailor and opened ? I have heard of people refusing service to customers who might be rude or unreasonable or other reason, but refusing to speak and listen to a client who just entered .. This new level of rudeness these days is becoming unavoidable.

Have had very mixed experiences in the two or three times Ive used Orchid. When producing a new pair of trouser the team did a reasonable job (not great, they didnt last long), but when simply altering the sleeves on a jacket they managed to ruin the suit. When challenged they said they would remedy the issue if i came back next time. Unfortunately for them (and me) I am unlikely to go back...

Santa is the best tailor I’ve used in over 12 years in Abu Dhabi. I have almost all my clothes tailored and use his services several times a month. His work is of the highest quality and his prices unbelievably reasonable. He has always been 100% reliable in delivery dates. Many tailors are OK with heavier fabrics but are not able to manage delicate silks or bias cut dresses, Santa excels at this. I also entrust expensive designer clothing to his team for alterations and have never been disappointed. His shop is spotlessly clean, with carpets hoovered daily, is properly air conditioned and has a comfortable and private changing room. In addition he is a lovely person to deal with, polite, professional and friendly. Could not recommend him enough.

I wanted to get some suits stitched. Since I dont know good tailors here so I searched and got to know about Orchid Tailoring Shop. Before going I wanted to know what they do and their rates. I called them and in between conversation, the guy hung up my call and didnt pick my call again.This is very rude and not the best way of serving your potential customer.i dont recommend this tailor even if he is the best in UAE......

Why cant someone try to be polite? I called their number so that i get the information that i wanted. The person who received the call was very rude. Within seconds he dropped the phone, I tried to call again and again and no one picked. What wrong did i commit in less than 20 seconds?

Santa- the head tailor is pretty awesome. Prices are reasonable depending on materials.

The most pathetic tailor I have ever been to. The worst service. Kept on shouting at us. I definitely see a pattern in the reviews.

Worst tailor ive ever been to, refused to return my clothes claiming I had some pending invoice from before which was a total lie in attempt to get some extra money, I think the main tailor is senile and his son is extremely rude. I dont advise anyone to go there
