Went to the covid assessment centre today and was totally surprised by the atmosphere. It was perfect, the staff, the facility, the cleanliness it was very well maintained and I am thankful to the government of AUH for this brilliant healthcare facility.

Still waiting here for more than 4 hours only to see doctor due to covid-19. Poor management. They have que number but not calling people on order. So disappointing, it even make me more sick rather than feel better👎

Rubbish place. They make you wait more than 5 hours only to see a doctor. They call patients who came after you. Its not organized and the nurses are not helpful at all. Everyone is running away and avoiding eye contact when Im trying to ask for help, I asked on of the nurse when will I be called and she said after 1 patient....this is more two hours ago. Horrible experience.

I have been on the phone for more than an hour waiting to be connected to the operator. Never had been connected. Poor system.

My husband tested positive four days back.. he has been asked to visit mafraq hospital for further details and for the tracker. He drived more than half to reach the hospital though he was not well. The doctor not even prescribed a medication for the symptoms my husband had and not even a single instruction on how to take care, what all to be done in home quarantine and what diets to follow. My husband came to know that he din prescribe any medication so went back asked them to give medicine for severe cold n nose block. The doctor has prescribed adol and a nasal spray. I have never seen a worst doctor. In other places they take care of patients well though there are hike in cases. In other places Everyone who tested positive gets multivitamins, zinc, food diet chart, and everyday an exercise to boost up the body again.. we ourselves know to take adol or panadol when we are sick why there should be a covid centre and a doctor to consult?

My niece has been admitted in covid facility ward. I dont know if its because its too busy but answering patients needs is really bad. Could not give medicine on times of pain on the right time. Not answering calls when pt needs them. Staff probably still required good knowledge on prioritising patient needs.

Came with fever and body pain due to covid, had to wait 3 hours to meet doctor. Very poor patient care.

One of the worst experiences ever. My friend was admitted into emergency after a deep wound in his finger but had to wait for about 5 hours for his turn. Three Nurses informed him that since he didnt have insurance but his condition was critical, he would only pay a minor amount. After a week he was booked an appointment to remove the stitches but then they later informed him that he would have to pay 3 times the amount he paid on his first visit. That amount would be other than what he would pay for removing the stitches. Stitches are still there and the wound is not healing properly. It would have been ethical if they had informed him in the beginning that this would happen, he would have at least considered going to another hospital. They are a complete ripoff and have zero morality.

Poor service. I came here at around 12 pm with covid positive result and still waiting here at night 9:30 pm to get the DOH approval.

For covid 19 assessment and arrangements are very appreciable. They have some outpatient department also there. Many staffs are locals. Some staff dont know English. Its only drawback. Another all everything OK.

The old Mafraq Hospital is assigned for covid-19 assessment center for positive cases or people in contact with positive case prior to quarantine in hospitals for severe and eldery cases or at home for mild cases

Worst experience in mafraq. No queue system. This was same like Indian government hospital. Had to wait for 8 hours before we left late night.

Its a governmental hospital providing emergency and clinic services, the have efficient triage system, door no.1 for cold cases, door no.2 for urgent cases that need rapid response.Its the main hospital that receive all cases transported via ambulances, you can go there even if you dont have insurance where a committee will decide to make you pay or not .. they will help

Mafraq hopital has been closed as on Jan 7 2020 and it was temporarily opened to treat the COVID patients. Currently this hopital is closed until further notice. Mafraq hsoptal has transctioned to SSMC. On the next compound Sheik Shekhbout Medical City - Hospital is up and running 24/7. Public could utilise that hospital.

My heart rate was 190 and I was told at ER vital Signs that it is only 100 imagine I was told to go back home and if I did it I wouldnt write now anything.......The nurse was laughing and as I hold a cheap insurance I was moved to the slaughter house Building B which is for Expat who has cheap insurance where 10 bids at least served by one GP...........after walking between two buildings I was admitted as fall Risk as my heart wanted to explode.......Imagine what hospital is that? Please think twice before you got there..........

This hospital doesn’t even deserve a star at all. I called to inquire for just an EMAIL ADDRESS where the company can send an official regarding mom who is a patient in this hospital. They transferred me several times and nobody in this company seems to know a single email address!!! even the admin was very rude and put me on hold for a very long time without informing me as if they just want me to hang up. if their customer service is this bad and an inquiry this simple can wreak havoc in this hospital I can’t even trust them in dealing with patients with very serious cases.they called me back after I gave up on my search for this email address only to find out they have it.... and they said that those process are just there to help customers ( clearly they failed to deliver what they aimed to deliver ).If only there’s another hospital that will handle my mom’s case, I will never let her set foot in this institution.

Nobody answers the phone. The 80050 number puts you in a queue that says there are 3 people waiting and then when the queue is down to 1 person it wishes you health and happiness and hangs up. Calling the hospital directly is just as bad as the operator transfers you and no one ever answers the phone. Extremely unprofessional.

Very bad experience and bad customer experience, Doctor and paramedics staff really need basic behavior and customer service training.. I went for my 6 year daughter for eye checkup with ophthalmologist technican Dr. Hibxxx and end up with very bad treatment, she done with my child test 30 sec after waiting more than 1 hour and end up EY arguments and Duty Doctor was covering her, unbelievable!!!, raised the complaint with hospital management but I am sure no one will get back to me as nothing happened. Stop going to this hospital where people don’t respect others and give headache instead of treatment.. may Allah give us guidance.

I wouldnt call it a hospital its a human slaughter house. Wat can j say poor care , shortage of physicians, inexperienced practicing nurses , high rates of medical errors. Not to mention the emergency section its horrendous.

Newly constructed hospital is called as Sheikh Shakhbut Medical City which is one of the largest hospitals in Abu Dhabi; once the facility is completed it will have a 735-bed tertiary treatment and consists of 4 towers together with all supporting amenities and infrastructure. This hospital is designed to comply with a certification level according to ESTIDAMA.

Some doctors behave like kids, if you told them are you sure? they will be angry and leave you in the room then they will send you to another doctor.The specialities departments wont answer phone calls, only the main reception answer calls.

Sometime you have some pain at night when no near hospital open.. Well, stay at home and dont think to go for Mafraq emergency if you dont have serious thing.. no way you will enter.Such an old and main hospital is like this, i feel shame.

What to tell this is not hospital...no one came here for watching tv or using wifi, please take care of patients especially in Emergency department. Please go and refer another hospitals in the world. I am from india, so i know if some one go there for emergency with in 10 minutes he get treatment. No need to wait there for hours and hours. If it is not an emergency case please refer to another hospital. No need to put on waiting and if we wait we can see some VIP goes direct to emergency department.
