I have a bad experience with this hospital i have visited the hospital as walk-in 4 days ago and book an appointment for baby surgery, got appointment and before a few hrs from my visit i have recived a message that appointment has been canceled a lady called me claiming that appointment has been canceled as i dont have records in the hospital where my insurance is can cover, if someone need an urgency and have no record in the hospital even insurance covered you cant enter?????!!! This is a jock !!!!! i feel also the staff doesnt have know how, and lack of knowledge and experience they weast my time not recommended

Anything but not a hospital. I don’t know if what I’m going to write will be weird to you or it’s only to me because I’m used to Dubai and it’s high quality service and I expected that I will see the same thing there but unfortunately it’s complete chaos. Here is my story. On Wednesday,May.26,2021. I had severe dizziness with nausea to the extent that everything was spinning around me. So I called the ambulance as I wasn’t able to drive to the hospital . They came and found out the blood pressure was 161 on many trials and it was not going down . They said they need to transfer me to hospital so I asked if they can take me to Medclinic which 7 minutes from my home. They said they couldn’t and I had to go to Twam hospital. I had no choice but to accept . So after the long tiring trip to this hospital, I was completely shocked. To my modest knowledge cases brought by ambulance and are urgent should be taken inside directly for treatment . Instead a nurse one questioned me again and I was barely able to speak . Nurse two came in and questioned me again and after the interview , she said I’ll put you in the waiting area. For God sake, I didnt come for a consultation to put me in the waiting area. I was brought by a police ambulance . When I said this an African American lady at the reception she didn’t like it and was so rude when I told her can you please call a taxi. I need to leave and go to another hospital: she said rudely “ we don’t call taxis here” . This is how you speak to a patient who has come with a sudden hypertension which was over 160. A security guide told the nurse “ bring her here” speaking about me and here means the door: I was all by myself . The nurse left alone . As the taxi arrives, I was almost going to fall and I hit my head with the door as I couldn’t stand by myself , some guy outside rushed to help when he saw I was struggling to get in the taxi ! I am in UAE for the last 15 years and I have never seen such disrespect or non professional attitude. I will follow up on this with the responsible authority.

What a poor medical treatment they have... Its well-known that cancer cells survive with sugar at any kind.. They serve sweets.. They administer iv dextrose... Even though treatment is chemical but they should pay an attention to other sides of the treatment and body healing.

Staff are nice and have good intentions, but time management is terrible and the hospital is not organized. Roles are not assigned to staff, instead staff members ask each other to do their tasks. This isnt a supermarket, its a hospital!Doctors should give priority to in-patients and are always late while patients are waiting for hours.We waited two hours before being admitted to the room. The reason? The doctor arrived late to discharge the previous patient who was staying in the room we were being admitted to.Similarly, when we were discharged, the doctor also arrived late, making the next patient wait hours before being admitted. This isnt right.The hospital should look into the food they serve their patients. How come they give ONE egg for breakfast for a male patient in his 20s? Very small quantity and non-nutritious. Also the time when food is served changes every day, leaving patients hungry and frustrated.Parking is terrible. They should assign a supervisor to manage the place. Many visitors take two parking spaces for one car. Other patients have to wait a long time before a spot clears.Major changes need to be done to this hospital and the poor management.

If there is less than one star to give , I will give.One of the worst hospital ever.The doctors start there round after 9:30 at the oncology department, patient live in there room isolated from the world , no activity or anything to motivate the patient to live ...... they just do there task without a smile or even hope in life. As far as I know at each hospital in the world ...there should be psychologists to help the patient to overcome their pain(we requested one) they never suggested.Dr. Danielle and her staffs enter patient room without a smile doing their job as a robot without any humanity.without giving any hope to patient family (I totally understand that the doctor should be honest but in the same time they should give the hope, part of the patient battle against the cancer is a psychological situation)Oncology department like a jail no intertamint for the sick people.I hope to take our comments in consideration to change something in the future not for us as it’s too late for us but for others.

Tawam hospital is one of the two big government hospital in Alain region owned by SEHA.Tawam hospital is an oncology centre.It is situated in a big campus .It works 24/7.And provides inpatient out patient and trauma care.It has a huge parking area recently expanded even more.The tawam campus is beautiful spacious and very neat.The hospital has an ongoing renovation project.The poly clinic building renovated recently and it promises the most mordern standards.

Had appointment at orthopedic clinic..waited for over 2 hours past my scheduled appointment,the problem i had was the waiting room was full,they waited on everyone,i was left,then it filled up again,they waited on everyone else again,then it filled up for the third time and they waited on everyone else again..i went to complain and they were rude and unprofessional..then got into see the dr. who was also very rude and unprofessional..the dr was phillp berdel,i would not take my dog to see him or this hospital..gave it one star because the daman insurance lady was very helpful and courteous..it was the only thing good about this place..
