My second visit/stay at this hotel. Generally good rooms, great staff and service. Carpets are not so clean and could do with a shampoo. Otherwise very good. Good for parking too at dhs 15 per night, valet was very hard working and polite, but they need more staff, he tried very hard. Receptionist super helpful. Overall good experience. Recommended..

Sewage water started coming out of the bathroom drain. I called the reception and they were supposed to send someone to clean. Its been hours and no one showed up. I tried calling and they stopped answering. The room smelled like Sewage. Also the Internet router had noplug. No WiFi in the room also called many times and no one answered the phone. Never gonna come back here.

We had considered far more expensive options but settled on this one. The staff listened to our requests for a room in a quiet position and overall the hotel represented tremendous value for money and worked very well for us. Rooms are not serviced but asking for tea and coffee supplies were all well fulfilled.

I’m so frustrated with the staff here!!! I have booked the room for 3 weeks. And guess what I’m facing? NO HOT WATER!!! I’m paying so much for this? I would’ve stayed in a minimal 2 star hotel! Such a waste of money man! God knows how I’m going to stay for another week!

Nice Hotel and very well located. PROS: Rooms are very clean, layout of the room very confortable, furniture still looks like new. Enough technology in the room to control A/C, Lights, etc. Enough items to prepare your tea and coffe. They have an small kitchenette with refrigerator (see pictures) if you want to prepare something light. Toilet is very confortable with shower and bath. The lobby has nice team and friendly. CONS: No available public parking (common problem in Abu Dhabi) and they charge 15 dhs (around 4.5 USD) for the valet parking.

Worst experience ever! I booked a double room for 7 days with my friend, we prepaid the whole amount and when we entered the room it was disgusting. There was hair in the bathroom and a forgotten razor from the previous guest ( I guess). Also the carpet was so dirty , as if someone vomited there or was eating on the floor and left a big yellow staine. The chair had a stain, god knows from what too. We had a late check in, but after all these you can imagine that we couldnt sleep as if nothing had happened. We asked them to change our room, they said nothing could be done until tomorrow morning. They came to change the bed sheets though cause it was also dirty. The next morning I spoke to the receptionist , she was really kind to offer us another room, slightly bigger and she told me that there was no way to complain to the manager, cause it was also them who work there who complain but nobody takes them seriously. To be honest we were so disappointed, we just took our bags and we left the hotel. Even the other room was not up to standard, so we couldnt risk our health staying there. Hope more people write about the bad conditions and unhealthy environment of this place 👎👎👎👎👎

I stayed at this hotel for about 3-4 days, the experience was not as per expectation. The room was not very clean/hygienic, the room carpet was dirty, the chair had some stains, and the iron stand was dirty as well and had to iron my cloths elsewhere. There was some noise coming from the kitchenet area, I suspect it the fridge compressor, it kept me up at night.

The hotel staff was excellent rooms clean my biggest compliment is for Mr Walters from housekeeping! I had forgotten some important articles in my room he found them and was able to retrieve them for me when I returned to collect them! We got this deal through cobone for pool and a meal. The pool looked nothing like the photos and we then go to have lunch to be told we were meant to have a reservation. Plastic cutlery and paper plates even though this is meant to be a 4 star hotel. Rude receptionist and unhelpful staff.

I would like to inform you that my stay in Golden tulip downtown hotel was really bad! The manager was unprofessional and he was shouting on me and my guest his nam is Adel and also the other staff member was rude her name is Jgn. Here is what happened with us:1-i was staying in the room alone and two of my friends they came one of them she is staying with me and the other one she was only visiting for dinner and they didnt allow them to enter, then my friends decided to book another room for them again Mr adel he refused to give them a room, he said I know u will visit each other so we will not give you a room and my friends left the hotel.2-i went to sleep and the one of the curtains dont have sun block so I reached out to the house keeping for help and they told me to change the room, I didnt want to change the room however, they insisted then I told them I will after 3 hours then when I was ready to change the room I went to the reception and Adel was there and he didnt want to give me the other room as per our conversation he said that he showed me the current room and I liked it so no need to change and I explained to him that his colleague is the one suggested to change the room even though I didnt want to change the room I only asked to change the curtains but the house keeping wanted me to change the room and it took forever to change the room.3-at the same day at 10:30 pm I came back to the hotel and stopped by the reception where Adel and Jgn was there and I asked to extend my stay for one more night and I wanted to pay for that, but Adel he refused to allow the extension by saying ( you need to talk to the manager tomorrow morning and he will decide whether you can extend or not).So what happened here that they disrespect me and my guests, refuse to give a room for the customer, they didnt offer comfort stay and Adel and Jgn was the reason for my uncomfortable bad experience in the hotel, I am so disappointed.

I have been in Golden Tulip Hotel in Abu dhabi downtwon for several days among national holidays.The experience of the Golden Tulip Hotel was ever worst.First of all, When I had visitors to my room, I had to pay each 25AED per one visitor.One staff said my visiter would be registered as a guest for one night in hotel computer system and it could not be deleted so that I had to pay the money for every additional visitors.It was really terrible.You should know this fact before booking this Golden Tulip Hotel.If I had known the fact before, I would never had booked this hotel.I have stayed at various hotels in UAE, but in any other hotels I have never experienced this ridiculous system.In other hotels, they just only ask the registration of Emirates ID for visitors.The Golden Tulip Hotel didnt suggest me any documents for their policy.I was so embarrassed and upset on this.The second worst thing is the following.This Golden Tulip Hotel is under operating valet parking system.On my first day, like as other hotels, I left the car key in my car and I got the tag from parking staff and then I told him my room number. That was all.But in the second late night when I arrived from my goingout, the parking staff asked me to put a stamp on the tag unlikely the prior day, so I went to the reception.But the receptionist asked me 10 AED.At he moment I couldnt understand the reason for the sudden payment request, not his words itself.Thus, I said that what? why?.But, he said again with the face expression as if Im a fool who dont understand easy English that you have to pay 10 AED.That situation was so much frustrating cause I asked the reason, anticipating for an explanation of the hotel parking policy.Nevertheless, there was not such a polite accountability, but only the treatment as a fool.Lastly,The attitude of reception staffs was really impolite and rude.Having a conversation with them makes me feel bad.There were chances to talk with four employees, but all of them without any smile on their faces treated customers as if customers are nothing.Customers look like prisoners in fornt of police officers.Nevertheless, the room cleaning guy Mr. ADIL was always happy and kind to me. And breakfast restaurant staffs were also good.They are savers in this hotel.I seriously doubt that The Golden Tulip Hotel has the value as four-star hotel.Additionally, thanks for giving a big room to me. But actually room size is not so important for me.

1 star for the rooms and cleanliness. However, I definitely had the worst experience ever in this hotel, I eman Ive been in hostels much better than this, and its supposed to be a 4 star hotel.They did a mistake In the check in process as I requested breakfast to be included in the bell. I asked my room to be cleaned and they didnt until 5:00 pm, breakfast is poor and not so many options, and good luck finding a parking lot for your car here. And finally you wont be able to take a nap afternoon as the construction works next to the building is on and the sound cealing is poor.

The GSA was doing check in for me then one girl came his colleague and they start talking with each other and just ignoring that Im doing check in !!I asked him for good veiw as I believe there an empty rooms in the hotel he said sir its very nice room with good veiw and my room is 306 with office veiw !! They charging 10 AED for parking to generate more revenue which is very bad for the guest experience !!! Im not recommended this hotel .

I have mistakenly booked a room for a wrong date. When I came to check in I found out it was booked for a day before. I did ask, for I refund but was told there is nothing to be done. I have not seen a country or a company that you will be fully charged for something YOU DONT USE. If it was a small fee, I could understand but the full amount?? Seriously? Ill file a complaint about this. MOD was aware of this! I was a regular, not any more..

We were expecting a better hotel seeing the star rating...Initially the reception lady was behaving like as we have come to stay at her house and she is not interested...I didnt get answers for my questions..and also check-in was delayed.Entering the room, the carpets are very old but room seems to be neat..later after few hours I started breathing difficulty and noticed it was because of the dust that entered to my lungs from the carpet..We asked the housekeeping staff to vaccum, but no luck...the cleaning is not proper..Finally they show few other rooms, but still d same ...few had smoke smell..though they mentioned in mentioned in amenities that its SMOKE FREE , many rooms have the smell...I ended up hospitalized due to breathing difficulty though booked expecting a relaxed stay....

Good enough to spend some nights. Spacious rooms, somehow cleaned, rapid services, nice staff. Not such a diverse breakfast but you can satisfy the basic needs. Until the 4th floor there are smoking rooms. Dont ask for one if youre not a smoker because if you dont smoke, the smell might come in your room from your neighbors.

Great place close to the water that offers a wonderful shopping experience and eateries. Great view and a historical place that truly captures the essence of Coronado Island. I was fortunate enough to enjoy the visual delight that is the Hotel during their all season. Their lights are amazing and they provide an area for ice skating as well. At the very first, the security guy (name Edward) from WHOS permission I wouldlove to know asked my ID, after when me and my husband returned back to the hotel on the very first day of our stay?! Reception is never answering. The hairdryer didnt work and no one bothered to change or fix in our few days of stay. The kittle didnt work. AC had been fixed on the third day of the stay. First time we met such a bad service in UAE. Would never recommend!

I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. The concierge work is really slow and annoying, I wait for 10 minutes every time I arrive the hotel for them to park the car. And wait for another 10 minutes when leaving the hotel. And sometimes they just give me the key and tell me where the car is parked to get it, I have no problem with that but one time it was parked in basement 5 !!The shower is broken, the toilet is not clean and the water nozzle isn’t working properly. I’m very disappointed with the service, I was planning to come again but not after what I experienced.

While I called the hotel for room booking...I was very much happy with the way how my phone was answered...within 3 ring and the way how receptionist had addressed my query.While I came at the lobby for check-inn, the bellman had politely approached me and asked me for luggage assistance and offered me valet service which made me a good feeling just even before I could check-inn.Moreover, I saw Mr. Ahmed Hilmy who represented himself as an Executive Housekeeper also personally assisted and escorted which gives an impression of the culture of the hotel which is very nice and appreciated. He made sure that our room was nice and clean and when we entered our room, it was smelling so fresh and clean that my wife mentioned next time whenever we will have some work in Abu Dhabi we will prefer to stay-inn here rather than staying in our house or at relatives place.We liked the cleanliness and hygiene of the hotel right from the entrance of the hotel lobby till our room. All staffs are so helpful, jolly and smiling. Receptionist staff Aalia who checked us in was very quick and all I needed to do was to sit for a maximum of 60 second and sign and move to the room, this express check-inn and check-out was amazing and I was very happy to see such process of the hotel. I would say the management of the hotel must have made a huge effort in Training Staff to make guest happy.Kudos to management team.I would come again with my wife and also I will recommend this property to my friends and colleagues !!!

I was excited to choose this hotel as shown in the photo that was clean, but unfortunately to say when i arrive and giving me my room, carpet was so dirty of stain, towel rack is broken and dangerous to take your towel and fall the towel rack. Shown photo on website is not what you expected. I was complain in the reception to change me in the other room but only to say to call me but i wasnt happen, I stayed for 3 nights.. I will not reccomend this for staying and paying same like other hotel where its clean....

I give my review 1 star because unfortunately there’s no 0. Sufyan from front office was very rude and offensive. I don’t think in any culture, work place, or a hotel, snapping your fingers to call guests while shouting from across the hall is acceptable. Terrible manners and terrible first impression and obvious lack of training. The hotel needs to invest in its infrastructure and maintain a better image if they would like people staying with them. I was lucky my car was still not parked by the vallet. I walked out of the hotel and will never come back

They lost our car keys. We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel and on the 1st day they lost our keys. The manager was useless and we sat around all day untill they managed to sort out another hire car for us at 7pm. What good was that. Very bad experience staying in this hotel. Me and my friends will not come back anymore in this hotel. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, poor customer service from Filipina receptionist and Filipino guy in the security. Especially this liar indian guy in the swimming pool (life guard) We paid for 5 extra person and gave us only 4 towels and insisting he gave us 5 towels. This Indian guy (life guard?life annoying) is soooo rude.
