The best branch. Please visit this branch and speak with Mr AlMazouri or Mr Hosani. They will give you the best service. Please avoid the Corniche branch and the Airport Branch:Corniche Branch:Mr Al Ali will offer your a package. one you return to pay he will give you a fault computer which does not work. GD8606 (General surgery dept) on 11th August 2020.Salaam Alaikum, HelloKind Attention: NMCRH, UAE Health Authority Abu Dhabi (DOH/HAAD)I Husaini Rangwala, NMCRH MR no: UD0500000317951 underwent a tendon transfer surgery of my left-hand index finger and thumb drop on 12th August 2020 by Dr HussamAldin Mousa Consultant Plastic Surgeon Reg no GD8606 in Royal NMC hospital Khalifa city Abu Dhabi. UAE on the referral of NMCRH Neurology department.After surgery my left arm/hand from the shoulder up till fingers were put in a cast for two weeks and later put in the cast again from the elbow till the tip of fingers for the next 4 weeks total of six weeks.I travelled out of UAE with the cast on 2nd Sept 2020 after completion of two weeks of surgery with the approval of the doctor and kept in touch with the surgeon through what’s-app messaging and voice messages if I had any clarifications or questions taking care of all precautions and medical adviceOn travel back to UAE and completion of 6 weeks after surgery on 27th September 2020, the cast was taken out completely and I was referred for physiotherapy sessions in NMC royal hospital for the next 10 plus 6 total 16 sessions and later in LLH hospital Musaffah for another 12 sessions.As the stiffness and pain in the shoulder, hand and fingers did not show any improvement in spite of intensive physiotherapy sessions in NMC and LLH Musaffah, I had a consultation with Dr Hussam and was told that it has resulted in Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) Sudeck’s Atrophy one of the complications which arise after the surgery which was not informed to me at all before the surgery by him. No counselling was done on any complications which could arise after the surgery by Dr HussamAldin.As I was highly concerned about my left-hand treatment and as further physiotherapy sessions were not getting approved and repeatedly getting rejected on submission to Daman insurance, I travelled to Bangalore, India with an intention of further treatment of my left hand and physiotherapy sessions to get back my left hand to back to normal.After three months of treatment in India, it showed no results. After every physiotherapy session, the stiffness, pain and flexibility improve for a short time and again it gets back the same after a while and in the morning after wake up my fingers and wrist is very severe stiff.As per other hand surgeons and medical professionals I consulted, the prolonged duration of the cast 6 weeks (2+4) in total has led to this complication of CRPS and stiffness.As I was referred from the Neurology department for the tendon transfer surgery after undergoing Neuro Physiological studies, the protocol for keeping the cast for 6 weeks could have been revised but it was not done.On 17th Feb I returned to UAE and visited NMCRH to meet Dr HussamAldin and show all medical reports and discuss my further treatment. He was kind to meet me and advised medication, more physiotherapy sessions and use of the left hand as much possible in daily activities in spite of pain and swelling.The surgery has got my left hand into disability, more complications with CRPS, Stiffness, Immobility and currently having swelling on the area of surgery which has been shown to Dr Hussam. I am taking the medications and treatment for improvement of the swelling and pain as suggested by Dr HussamAldin Mousa but no results.My left-hand fingers and wrist is not functioning properly and is shaking, shivering all the time after the surgery this has caused a complete disruption of my day to day normal life and has caused1. Pain and inflammation in the surgery area.2. CRPS (Sudeck’s atrophy)3. Great inconvenience4. Constant Mental agony, Stress, Tension, and Worries5. Financial Losses6. Waste of time and efforts without any results
