Simple process to go to the Ministry of foreign affairs website and register with smart pass. It will help you save a lot of money and ensure quick and fast service, because the certificate can either be collected via empost, which takes 4 days or you can go directly to the tasheel center where you can obtain the certificate same day once you book an appointment via the website. To book appointmentRegister with smart pass.Login with smart pass.Choose your service.Upload your scanned copy of certificate. (In my case it was a medical document which had to be stamped by department of health because it was obtained from a private hospital)Certificate front and back side should be taken as one pdf file and uploaded even if it is a blank page. You can then choose either to obtain the certificate via empost, which will take 4 days and an additional 40 aed charge. Along with 150 aed fee.Or you can choose to collect certificate from Tasheel center. (I took from mussafah took maximum 5 to 10 minutes)They will charge 150 + a fee of 6.5 aed. And you can get the document stamped same time.Hope this helps. Best wishes..

Dear AllI am writing this procedure to help you as i just completed my Attestation for Abu Dhabi, You have to make a UAE SMART PASS account, and then log into MOFA website, Create a Certificate attestation request, (before that whatever you have to attest scan them in color both sides and combine in one PDF file, Size should not go more than 3 mb and remember only one file per request can be uploaded), fill online form, latest fee is AED 150 per educational certificate, pay with credit card, and once payment is approved download your receipt, print two copies of each and go directly to nearest Empost office with the receipt and original documents, they will collect your document and will charge you AED 36, keep cash in hand, and you will be given another tracking number from empost, now wait, in two days your Post office will call you to pick up your attested Documents, or you can arrange a delivery to your home with empost, whole process will take around 4 working days if everything is fine, Do Not go to Tasheel they will just create the online request but will charge you AED 80 for just creating the request which you can easily do, in addition they will charge you AED 150 MOFA fee per certificate, do not go to MOFA directly all centers are closed and they are only accepting your originals through Empost, hope this post will save you lot of time and money

A complaint was sent to Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.I filed a complaint via US Embassy in Dubai,Abu Dhabi,Hong Kong and via their UAE Consulate in Hong Kong,Los Angeles and Washington to look into payment for a local that was pardoned from jail for check fraud by the President of the UAE. A pardon and payment was ordered by the President of the UAE after Dubai Courts found Ibrahim Mohammed Hassan Ahmed of check fraud. He was pardoned but full payment as ordered and awarded by Dubai Courts and promised by UAE President was never received. A complaint was filed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs but issue was never resolved. Once payment is received as promised I will update star ratings. More info on this case at www dubaicheckfraud com and on Facebook for Dubai Check Fraud. Case has been stretched over 10 years now and I am still awaiting payment from Presidents office that pardoned him. For the last 10 years the Diwans Office in Abu Dhabi has been saying that they have still not received payment from government or they would have paid. Numerous attempts via Ministry of Foreign Affairs to help and assist with case has not lead to payment being made as promised.Ibrahim Mohammed Hassan Ahmed was found guilty of check fraud in Dubai courts and sentenced to jail. He was pardoned several times from serving time in jail by order from Abu Dhabis President with a promise to allow those imprisoned due to financial difficulties to start a new life. Many locals were freed from jail with a promise to pay their debts on their behalf. They were freed but where is payment as promised??This review should also be under Ministry of Justice but Google search showed nothing for Ministry of Justic in Abu Dhabi.

The certification service in the marina has been closed and Tasheel has raised the fees to 270 dirhams, with a waiting period of 17 daysAlthough, by calling 024965554, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Al Bateen, I took an appointment and received my transaction in less than 5 minutes ... I wish there was a way to notify the auditors

Of the worst and spoiled ministries in the emirate of Abu Dhabi .. Their employees are diplomats as a name only, the majority of them hate each other, especially the foreign missions department .. The ministry does not walk in it except those who have its foundations .. needing rehabilitation and education and awareness circles
