We earn just enough to make a living and when theres extra, we try to pamper ourselves with the luxuries of life, so we expect to get our moneys worth.From the start, we had a booking for 2 PM, we arrived on time but one of our group members were held to go in their room due to some late check out of a previous guest. They had them waiting for more than an hour, even if after they said itll be just 15 mins.We decided to use their facilities but surprise surprise! The only ones that function are the open rooftop pool and the gym, no spa, no sauna! Try swimming in the heat of July.The next day, breakfast, it doesnt matter if its 6:30 AM or 10 AM or the last minute of the buffet. The food being served should be refilled and that customers should not ask it to be replenished. I usually ask for a cheese omelette for breakfast in hotels, I asked the concierge Viraj, the waitress, and even the chef but my breakfast ended with no omelette in sight.I didnt want to do this because I dont want negativity on our trip but there is a limit of tolerable ineptness that I can handle.Never come to Danat Residence, Abu Dhabi unless they improve their service and facilities.Ending this review on a positive note. Visit Danat Resort in Al Ain, one of the best hotel experience I had.
