I bought a brand new Garmin 2597 online which came with a defective charger. I took the device to Amit as they are listed as Garmin authorized dealers in Abu Dhabi. Instead of replacing the charger in warranty they asked me to buy a new one. Staff was not friendly at all. Very poor service from a Garmin dealer.

AMIT , Abdulla, many thanks in solving the battery issue with the Vector3.After replacing the unit 2 times without any positive improvement.We bought 2 Vector 3 units for both our daughters (in Holland and in Abu Dhabi). Both the same story not working - no power .Instead Garmin should have solved it, AMIT did it and listened to the clients facing all the same battery problem.You took your time , thinking out of the box and came with a simple but effective solution in replacing the battery with another, little bit thicker battery.We all spent a lot of money for a Garmin product which is not reliable, we cant wait for the Garmin R&D team to come up with a solution.By the way Leannes result in Dubai Ironman 70.3 2019, first overall female age grouper!!Simple solution - Great result!!!! still working fine without failure for 2weeks now

I had no other option to get Optima battery. The store manager is rude and when requested a previously promised discount, he has made it as a seen, and didnt show any courtesy. I was aiming to buy other marine stuff from there, but with such attitude, this would be my last option. I guess the exclusivity for brands should be reviewed by the OEMs and vendors more strictly to ensure comptitivenss of the agencies and resellers.
