Nice cafe and good place to stay away from crowded places, they have good and tasty cake, little bit pricey especially for cold pickup coffee the one in the refrigerator,I loved the matcha latte, also arabic date with Cardamom latte,20 small peace salted biscuit for 100 or more a bit pricey.But I would visit again 4 star for the price

Good coffee and nice atmosphere. A little empty for my taste. And no French press. And parking is a little bit of an issue, as there is hardly any street parking next to the place - use the university parking after you get registered, showing your emirates ID, provide phone number etc.

Place itself is nice, serving is very stylish, but coffee was not great (surprisingly), my americano tasted burnt, not very impressed. Tiramisu was soft and sweet, but definitely lacking coffee flavour.If you need a place to work - perfect. If youre coming for a coffee with dessert - not my number 1 choice

We love this place and used to come here three or four times a week primarily for the espresso drinks. However we started to notice that they would resell their food and pastries over multiple days rather than making them fresh everyday. We would sometimes get there early morning and several cakes and breads were half gone already which suggests that they were leftovers from the prior day. That was confirmed after we purchased and found the lemon chia loaf dry on several occasions and the beef teriyaki bowl dried out and slightly rancid. When it comes to coffee however they are as good as other people say and we still go back for coffee although strangely we had a latte recently that came with a fly in it. However the coffee is on par with the likes of Arabica and Rain so we may have to go back given the lack of options on Saadiyat. UPDATE: ARABICA HAS OPENED UP A LOCATION IN FRONT OF MANARAT SAADIYAT!!!

Hot americano 17, Caffe latte iced 26 aed. And muffin with chocochip 12aed. All of them was great. Staffs are so kind. You can see kinds of chairs and tables. You can study with your labtop. You should go. Lastly, you can park at NYUAD parking lot for free.

A great hangout for a coffee in Saadiayt, great coffee in a cosy place!

The credits goes mostly to the place’s atmosphere and energy, which is excellent if you want to study, read, or have a quiet time and relax. However the coffee for my own taste wasn’t exceptional, but it was okay. My other point is regarding the music, I was there for +2 hours and I noticed that the music is repeating which is kind of tedious. Other than that I think it’s quiet a nice place and unique in its atmosphere.

The best speciality coffee in Abu Dhabi and whats best is their Acai Berry tastes so delicious and mouthwatering and no doubt their coffee is awesome and tasty. Would recommend it forever and I give it 10/10 for its service, ambience, music, food selection, and coffee ☕️👏

5 stars with no hesitation! The ambience is nice the coffee is good. It is different from all other places I wish they had one in Dubai. Located in a university campus which is far from being a happening one especially in the pandemic time.

We have been to this place many times: it is based at my favorite place in Abu Dhabi (NY University Abu Dhabi) and they have really good coffee and bakeries there. It’s quite, airy and it has nice ambient for studying or just chilling. You can walk around campus afterwards as well.

Amazing interior, very friendly staff, unique cups unlike all the other speciality shops. Big variety in desserts and other savory choices. Great coffee and their cardamom date latte is a great choice for those who like flavoured coffee, not the usual rose and caramel lattes. Definitely a place to go to regularly.

Most reviews here look fake with most only posting this one review.This place serves mediocre coffee for very high prices. I have had countless coffees around the world and in Dubai/Abu Dhabi and none compare to this. Only once out of 20 times did I get a great cup of coffee at Blacksmith, and at 24 dirhams per cappuccino that’s a very steep price. My friends and family also agree with me. I honestly don’t mind paying as long as I get what I pay for. The very best cappuccinos in Dubai are for 18 max and I’ve been to literally all the specialty coffee shops in Dubai, as can be seen from my reviews history.Additionally, the quality of the food is inconsistent - sometimes amazing and other times a real letdown.At least the service and place are excellent. But the owners don’t like to receive feedback from customers as they think they are perfect so don’t bother.

The baristas are very well-experienced and friendly, the minute I walked in I loved the ambiance. Simple and clean, it seems like the perfect place to set up your laptop and get work done with GREAT (if not the best) cup of coffee in Abu Dhabi.

Good coffes, and, for those of you who prefer the tea, very good tea selections. You get a whole pot of tea, with a drainer, not just a mug and a bag, which makes the whole difference. There is some selection of sweet and savoury snacks/ brakfest/ lunch options. It doesnt seem like a big selection, but again food tastes amazing and one croissant is enough for breakfast.. the only cons are limited space, and, like most of the places in Abu Dhabi, prices - they could be better.

Expensive coffee and the service isnt always great. Having said that, it is a really nice place to sit with friends or to drink coffee while getting some work done. I really like the cold brew coffee, but the prices make this more of a treat than a regular haunt.

I go to Blacksmith quite often as I reside on Saadiyat and have been so since its establishment in June of this year. First off, the food on offer was fairly good in June but they started offering too many variations which affected the quality. Secondly and most importantly, the coffee was firstly bad (understandable as they were new), then they almost got it correct, but they went bad again and worse than they started. The last time I had their coffee it made me really sick -- the beans they use are not that great and taste inferior to every other coffee shop out there. I own a Linea Mini myself and usually get my beans from specialty coffee stores in Dubai as they have plenty. Bland, bitter and overpriced coffee.

Although this place serves very good coffee in general, Id definitely not give it more than 3* for now. My favorite barista in AD Chris is working here and he is the main reason why Im coming here. He knows very well what is coffee and how to make proper coffee. The reason being giving this coffee shop 3 stars is the really overprived food they are selling (for example small ready made tiny wraps and sandwiches which can be found in Carrefour or even petrol stations for 30+ aed). Also, one barista I talked to was a bit rude (at night shift). I have a solid background in coffee myself and when I asked that guy to show me the data of coffee beans they are serving he got frustrated and did not want to help! Whats wrong in that dude? I just wanna choose the right one for me at that time!

As I saw rave reviews of this new coffee place, I decided to take my date for a cup of coffee. It was a beautiful afternoon (the weather is getting better) and a wonderful drive to Saadiyat Island. Parking was sort of easy although Blacksmith was starting to get crowded. I ordered a latte while my date got a cappuccino. Service was sorta slow. After my date had a couple of sips of her cappuccino, she frowned, said this is the worst coffee I ever tried and you are a disgrace and then she stormed out and hailed a cab. I was clueless to what to do and decided to leave and barely had any of my latte. I had a good chance with my date but bad coffee turned everything around.

Blacksmith is one of the best coffees Ive tried in AD. Even when I entered the coffee house Ive been hit by the aroma of the authentic coffee. I highly recommend the AFFOGATO, the coffee has a crisp, bright flavor, with subtle hints of cardamom, which enhanced the flavor. From the sweets, I loved the chocolate cheese cake, it was smooth and indulging. Simply, comfortable place with extra-ordinary coffee.

Speciality coffee in Abu Dhabi with a welcoming and calming atmosphere. The bar is engulfed by a beautiful large wooden frame and is designed to make the experience for the customer very easy and pleasant. The interior is spacious with earthy tones, and has a great university vibe. Although it attracts many people from around Saadiyat Island as well as the Capital.The food menu ranges from breakfast muffins, yogurt and burritos to lunch/dinner salads and sandwiches to the delicious desserts.
