Its a great experience, the mangroves are a beautiful location to kayak at. Very easy for the beginners as the water is completely still. The staff gave us a short briefing before we begin. We opted out of taking a guide as we wanted to explore the place on our own. But I wish someone told us that the route is not in a loop and we have to turn back at some point. There are no signs and you are pretty much on your own in the mangroves. At least this was our experience during Ramadan at 6am in the morning. You can see the marine life staying near the shores and spot birds too.The kayaks are stable and have backrest. They also give you a bottle of water for the 2 hour trip.I highly recommend this experience and ask them about Kayaking near Louvre as well.
We did the sunset kayak tour. They started with a breifing, offered us single or double kayaks and waterproof bags for our belongings although they do have somewhere you can leave your belongs onshore. They gave us a bottle of water each and we set out.The route was amazing. We had a guide that took care of us. The whole trip was between 1.5 -2hours and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Sea Hawk!
It was a beautiful experience! I highly recommend itEspecially in the winterMy wife and I booked the 4 pm guided kayaking tour.. the weather was amazing. The tour went into the Eastern mangroves, stopped on a floating deck for pics and to enjoy the scene, then, kayaked our way back into the sunset. It was a bit windy which made it a tad challenging and a lot more fun!It cost 168 Derhams per person and our guide Joshua was helpful and friendly.Ill, definitely, do it again but most probably will try Alreem Island.
This Kayak rental location was recommend by Captain Sams Jet Ski and I must share that it was a great referral. Aneez and his team run a quality operation and the location is perfect for exploring the Eastern Mangroves. This is one of the best ways to get in touch with nature while still being close to down town Abu Dhabi. Would like to share that... you are going to get wet so best to prepare accordingly. I highly recommend and will be returning often.
Got a deal, kayak was good and sturdy. The mangroves were a good experience though there were mosquitoes / insects quite in number around the shore. Very good Overall , and best to visit would be during the sunset.
The 1.5 hour drive to Abu Dhabi was totally worth it. Sea Hawk is located within the Anantara Eastern Mangroves - a beautiful property. They have a great variety of water sports - kayaking, paddle boarding, boat rowing, etc. Some of the activities come with a guided tour. Great for first timers. You get to explore the Eastern Mangroves National Park. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Some things to keep in mind before heading there: keep an extra set of clothing, and you go barefoot for kayaking so keep a pair of flip flops. Very important to book a session beforehand. I had an amazing time as it’s so calm and serene.
Underwhelming. After months of trying to sign-up for a full moon kayaking at the Louvre we packed up with great anticipation. A beautiful evening lay in front of us with no clouds, calm breeze and no traffic as we left Abu Dhabi. Our first surprise of the evening was that we purchased 4 tickets for kayaking but were told on arrival that they only had tandem kayaks for families. The couple of single kayaks they had would be for singles in the group that evening. That was a let down for the kids who had been looking forward to exploring in their own kayak. When it came time to head to the landing to get our so-called training and get into our kayaks the area that this was being done was dark and wet. One of the patrons slipped and fell hard on the concrete. Not sure why this area wouldnt be well lit? The 1 guide, who was also the person checking everyone one it at the tent and taking money did his best with little help from his fellow workers. With everyone in their kayaks we began to head off towards the underbelly of the Louvre. I had thought that once we paddled under the rooftop of the museum that there would be a discussion about the construction of this amazing building. I was incorrect. Paddle in, get your picture and paddle out to continue around the perimeter of the building. The guide was strictly there to make sure your didnt do anything to damage the structure or get lost in the waterway I guess. There were kayakers from our group all about. The only thing keeping them in sight was the glow in the dark bags each kayak was given at the initial landing.About an hour or so later we finished paddling around the building ending close to where we started. It was a beautiful evening to be on the water thanks to Mother Nature. The remainder did not live up to expectations. The cost, lack of individual kayaks for ticket holders, no explanation or history about the Louvre contributed to a less than aspiring experience. We checked this bucket list item off our list begrudgingly.
Accommodating staff - Rizwa was very helpful and friendly. The stand up paddle boarding tour was an overall beautiful experience
Nice place for Kayaking. Those of are planning to go during summer shall go either early in the morning or during evening. Overall experience was good . Worth trying it.
Mr. Joshua is an excellent guide. The whole staff is really helpful and friendly.Must go as still water makes the whole thing easy. Take camera or phones with you. 99.9% they wont get wet just keep 2 polythene or zipper bags if in case.Park anywhere in mangroves and go to the back side. Make sure to use the restroom Im advance as it takes 1-2 hours. There are changing rooms there at the end. The bottom part will be completely wet and few drops here and there on top while kayaking.
Amazing kayaking in the dark after sunset. Rizwan was our amazing guide. Great experience!
They send you off without enough water, no information about the path, where to go, or any safety instruction. We ended up taking a long path and arrived back long after sunset. The equipment isnt bad though. Be sure to take at least 1 litter of water.
Me and my friends had a great experience here. The kayaking is quite easy and there is a guide there to help you out. You will be in and out of the place in about an hour and its a good experience. I dunno how the place is during the summer, but we had gone here during early April at the evening and it was a very surreal and pleasant experience. After docking back in, the staff provided us with some fresh fruits which was very kind of them. The only thing I would like to suggest is that they have a dedicated changing/shower area as you can get quite wet and dirty from the kayaking.
Got a bit messed around with Entertainment Card (can’t use the Dubai one even though this appears on their site) and Groupon deals (only work at Yas Island) but once we secured a discount we took two single kayaks (without a guide) and had a great few hours out on the water. Pretty exhausted after the 2.5 hour round trip but definitely a highlight of my UAE visit
Amazing place with amazing staff specially gwen from India.. She is just amazing and friendly
Excellent and quick service but a little pricey compared to others. We tried the kayak at reem island waters and it was lovely experience
Worth the price.. Good weekend activity. Enjoyable and relaxing.
Friendly service, great morning for a morning activity.
Went on a mangroves cruise with the guys from seahawk, the guide was really friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. They are also very reasonably priced for their tours.

We went on an SUP tour from here. Excellent - really enjoyable and lovely scenery.
Good experience we had fun
Best water sport company in Abu Dhabi 👏👏
Excellent Museum followed by a fun activity of kayaking around the Louvre. The staff is super nice and professional. Shakers, Marvin and Arslan were very helpful and friendly and made it a memorable experience. Thanks. Definitely recommended activity if youre visiting the Louvre Abudhabi Museum, kayaking with Sea Hawk.
Lovely place.. nice kayaking destination for families and friends...✌️
Worst place to visit. Poor service and rude attitude. Dont believe in these scam paid reviews.
The kayak experience was amazing!! The tour guide was very helpful and informative.
Wonderful experience
Very nice experience to have in the capital, except for its been so crowdy and it was also high tide which made us tired a bit. So if you have good stamina you would enjoy it more.
Lovely people. Guide explained a lot of details on mangroves and was very patience with the group(we had folks who were kayaking fir the first time). Location is stunning, you wouldn’t expect such greenery in the middle of Abu Dhabi
Nice experience and worth for the trip
These guys are greatIt was my first time kayaking in abu dhabi and it was absolutely beautifulMr vishnu was a great guide, very helpful and beginner friendlyI will be trying more of their services for sure
I would recommend the boat cruise to the ones who love nature or want to observe mangroves closely or just relax in the boat as it cuts its way through the water. Our guide Mr. Mafi provided us with allot of information about mangroves and the birds around.More bird species will be arriving in the months to comeWatching the sunset through the Abu Dhabi Skyline was definitely an awesome experience and we are surely ck with guests. The prices are also not very expensive and the details can be found on their website.
Horrible experience! Risky and Unpleasant. We rented 3 kayaks, paid over 450 AED.One of the kayaks (that had my mother and I) in it, started sinking inside the Mangroves. It completely capsized at one point. We called them for help. Meanwhile one of the guys from their company who was taking some other people on a tour was passing by and told us to follow him on foot in the mangroves and drag the kayak along. He asked us to walk inside the Mangroves in filthy water with loose mud and pointed shrubs all around us. Not just that, he had the audacity to tell us that we must hurry up otherwise he will leave. Because of being half submerged in dirty slimy water, I lost my ring. Not only they did not refund our money, they did not help us find my ring either. The other kayak rental next to them is much better.
Kayak before sunrise 🌅 or sunset
The tour was good and the guide was friendly, but it’s overpriced for what you get.You can just rent instead of taking the tour.On the other hand, taking the tour is more social as you can meet new people.
The Eastern Mangroves tour wasn’t much of a tour. As there wasn’t much dialogue from the instructor giving any info on the area, what nature to look out for Etc. By the tour description we were supposed to get a fruit bowl which never happened. The tour was only really an hour as it took ages before we were actually out on the water. They also could’ve done with two tour guides (one at the front and one at the back) as we had to keep stopping as we didn’t know what route to take in the Mangroves.
Highly recommend - Fabulous Kayak Tour around Louvre Abu Dhabi. Special thanks to Hassan, who is the perfect Tour Guide. Hassan is a very gentle person and he explains very well how to kayak. We enjoyed our tour very much! Thank you!
Good guide. Good equipment. Remember to take a pair of spare pants with you as yours will be totally wet. They provide you with water and a cup of fresh fruits if you book guided tour.
Always enjoyed their tours, but they never pick up the landline, ever. try reaching them on email (which might take time, or social media)
Super experience. Must try. Best time for kayaking is 7 am
It was our third time using Sea Hawks kayak service for 3 hours without guide. The team was great and efficient. Anis was very helpful. will continue using them.
Good service,160 per head charge. Try some offers online before going.
Great fun and really helpful instructors for our school trip. Highly recommended.
Good guide and nice kayak. Best on full tide and in morning. Also more birds in cooler months. Good for beginners.
Very cool day out, innitially its a little over develpoed with barges working adn constrcution going on in the mangroves, but as you get further in its quite nice, we Kayaked, but there are lots of other ways to explore including SUP and otehr moterised options. Best thing is its Doggie friendly! You can take the 4 legged furry friends along.
Love this place, enjoying nature. Stuff is helpful and friendly
Cruise for 1 hour. Loved the service. Great staff.
Great experience and friendly staff. Guide Mr. Akmal was friendly and professional.
To see a different side of Abu Dhabis steel and glass exterior, head into the mangrove forests that still ring the islands along the shore surrounding the city. Theres a bundle of kayaking tours available for all levels of experience and age, and ranging from 1.5 hours to three hours of paddling. The Eco Tour allows you to understand the important ecology of mangroves as well as explore these beautiful last remnants of the citys forests. For a really special experience, sign up for the night tours and discover the mangroves by gliding through the waters after dark
Amazing experience
Amazing kayak experience, historic mangroves :)
Great experience..
Good organisation
Had a really great time - staff were very kind and patient with us!
Must visit place.. if you take guide it costs 160aed and he will take you inside mangroves provided weather conditions are good. Also they provide water bottle and one fruit bowl😋. You can take kayak your own for 120aed go and stop at a beach spend good time with your partner. U r allowed to carry ur own food. No place to shower but you can change your cloths inside a small cube.
Nice adventure! Wroth to try
Sea Hawk - Kayaking is maintained by a youth group of mallu guys . The coordination and the guidance is good too . While you are kayaking for the first time in this region they will charge you 160 dhs which includes a guide. Who is well experienced in eastern mangroves Abu Dhabi . When you are booking for the second time they charge you 110 dhs for 2 hours kayak rental for a single person kayak . It really worth the pay . The clear water in the mangroves alone with the fishes swimming under your kayak is a unique experience all together . I assure you its worthy . Have a great experience while kayaking. Paddle to happiness
Unprofessional staff. Horrible service. Gave us a broken Kayak
Great experience and friendly guide. Go early morning or late afternoon.
Great fun and really got looked after...highly recommend it
Highly recommend but in cooler months only
My favourite spot for Kayaking and SUP!
3rd time, great gear, great staff and each adventure is different. The mangrove lives and changes each trip.
One of the best experience I ever had
Nice sport and nice team
Amazing experience 👍
Very nice activity . Awsome
Pathetic customer service. One of their kayaks actually capsized and got filled with water without any fault of ours. Thankfully it was in shallow waters. After rotating it back, it won’t float. Over and above that, when we called for help, one of their people came after 25 mins and asked us to walk through the shallow mangroves. He even threatened to walk us faster or he’d leave us. When we asked for our money back for the bad experience, they blatantly denied us. 0 for customer service. Think before choosing them.
If youre looking to kayak the mangroves, sea hawk is a great outfit to choose.
Great water sports- nice location
Great way to spend an afternoon!
Friendly staff. Go for the guided tour of the mangrove. 6km single, dual and triple seater kayaks available
Bad customer service. Zero organization.
Very good experience
Kayaking at mangrove National Park
