First of all very cozy and lovely place, we really liked the location of this cafe. Food we took #57 burger and penne pasta. I would say pasta tasted not bad but the quantity was very little at the bottom of the plate and burger was not really good meat was little chewy and bun was little soggy. Since this was a late night dinner and the staff looked little exhausted. But we enjoyed the atmosphere.
(Caution: Rant ahead.)Went on a weekday morning for breakfast. Looking forward to the great food that was mentioned in reviews in social media.Robby our server did a great job explaining the menu and the must-try No. Fifty Seven Boutique specialities.Great ambience, and when you go outside, you’ll see a great sea view and some parked yachts.Overall, the food is superb! I will let the photos speak. 😅Everything is fine until the lady that was seating in the table in front us started to cough (sounds dry like her throat is so itchy and needs some hydration), and didn’t even bother to put her mask on. We have asked the staff to talk to her to observe some coughing (Covid-19 prevention) etiquette and maybe the lady need some water or something, but she refuses. Other people are obviously bothered as well. Eventually she and her friend left after she finishes her ‘report’.
Delicious food! Best French toasts I had in a looong time and perfectly balanced ricotta and lemon pancakes. What a delight!!! The kitchen staff, notably Sebastian, are a GEM! I cant wait to come back and try those utterly sumptuous benedicts that kept passing by. The service staff is friendly and attentive (we shared both plates and they made sure to safely bring it individually portioned) and the coffee is delicious too. It is very difficult to understand how the maintenance is SO neglected! Humidity and dirty marks on the walls, stains everywhere on the chairs upholstery, dead plants and even a broken big light bulb, a statement decoration piece in the middle of the room, with big pieces of the shattered glass exposed... that could have easily been removed if not replaced. This 5* team deserves better!
It used to be a very good cafe, now it needs maintenance ASAP. There’s mold on the walls and ceiling, and it’s not inviting
Facing the sea this beautiful boutique cafe is located in Marsa Al Bateen which is very coz and serene place in Abu Dhabi and one of my favorite spots. We happened to try their menu as heard some good things about them. Upon entering the cafe we were welcomed and greeted by Cedrick who is such a lively and genial host that we almost felt like home. This cafe is beautifully designed and curated giving the look of modern contemporary art. I just loved the coziness of this place spreading positive vibes all around. The staff is well trained and cordial in treating their guests. Moving towards their menu, they have an elaborated menu with choices of dishes I each section and a well extended menu for drinks and beverages. We ordered pina cola (the finest that it took me 2 minutes to finish it up), Mexican chicken salad (the delish of all the salads and extremely fresh), lamb chops with gritted potatoes), boneless buffalo wings (very different and delicious than the usual buffalo wings that we eat), Bolognese Rigatoni (salmon with mashed sweet potatoes), French fries for kids (very light and yummy).Everything that we ordered there was just beyond delicious and so accurate in bringing the cultural taste to the table. All thanks to their ace chefs who put their efforts in making the meals rich in taste and texture. I got to meet with the dream team if this cafe just to appreciate their work. Chef Engel, Chef Justine, Chef Jhay and Chef Peter were the magical hands in preparing the yummiest and authentic food. I wish to visit them again and try some more new dishes soon. I’d definitely give them a 5⭐️#abudhabicafe #inabudhabi #discoveruae #abudhabifoodie #dubaifoodblogger
Ive been going to this place for breakfast for about two years now. Ive taken everyone my friends, mom, and even my grandma! They all loved it. First of all the interior design, the cutlery the natural light, everything is sublime. It has a very calm and placid aura to it. I love the Shakshuka but I love the french toast even more! There 57 berries drink is to die for and their coffee is always served hot and tastes amazing.
Cleanliness: 0/10Service: 3/10Ambiance:5/10Food: 4/10I went during Ramadan ( benefit Middle East event ) let me just say it was a huge disappointment.
Beautiful and chic. The most delicious pancakes I have had! (Recommend the lemon blueberry pancakes) Perfect now since its February and the weather is still nice.
A bit overly priced I would say but the surrounding was very good. Good was average though. If you wanna go for a fancy place, this would be very good. You can even take a walk outside this cafe as its beautifully made. There is a pathway with fountains and a small lake which makes it worth visiting this place. There are many more restaurants and cafe around it so you can actually have something there too while you have your coffee here at no.fifty seven boutique.
I’m a regular customer for this place specially the breakfast . The service has declined and the orders are not done as they used to be. It takes ages to be served and sometimes the waiters don’t bring in the right order. I can assure that there’s something wrong with the management. I saw some other people setting on tables next to me just leaving theRestaurant because of the bad service! It’s a shame :(
The Best Restaurant which serve Best Emirati Sheyet with Lamp, Highly Recommended
Good Relaxing place.Parking is free. On weekends this place gets really busy. But overall nice experience... Will go back with kids/ family.Food was good. I really liked their coffee.
This used to be one of my favorite places in Abu Dhabi but with all the other options it’s hard to keep coming. I’ve been here twice the last few months and the service level keeps declining..
Very pleasant breakfast. Calm, friendly staff and good food!
Love the interiorservice is goodfood is okay
A joke! They have turned the entire place into a ladies only coffee shop and there’s no signage outside so I went in and everyone was surprised and when I asked how am I supposed to know? The waitress told me that the exterior is in pink lol! Looks overrated anyway!
Tasty food.. good service
The Ambience, The Food, The customer service very good, Will keep coming for more
The design of this place is certainly one of the reasons why it became so hyped. Food is the second main factor. If you looking for a great place for breakfast in Abu Dhabi, this is it... the whole experience is really good and well curated. Staff is also always pleasant. Amazing coffee, fresh bread, great menu that makes you always want to visit it once more. The idea of the charcoal pancakes is also a sign that the owners pay attention on how to communicate and enhance the image of their brand and that shows all around in many other details. A favorite and a choice when I have family & friends around!
Excellent and fast service you can request cedrick to help u and take recommendation with excellent advice about foodHigh quality of food with quiet environment
Like the area and how the food is presented. French toast was nice and shakshuka was nice as well. But it was differently cooked depends on the day. Coffee drinks are rather expensive than food.
Lovely place, delicious food i recommend the french toast its so delicious.
Commonly seen at the trendiest Abu Dhabi festivals, this popular café has undoubtedly risen to the top ranks of the café scene in this Emirati city. No. Fifty Seven is best for its drool-worthy Son of a Chick burgers, its tasty salads and ice-cream cones. No promises that you wont fall head over heels for the Kinfolk-sque decor, or that you wont join its cult following.
Over priced.. less than average food.. average or less than average service.. only pro was the view
This restaurant feels like it was once a nice place, but that the owners have not reinvested in its upkeep. Stained chair seats, water damaged wooden floors and chairs and scuffed up walls surprised me for all the shine and sheen in UAE. The food was good, but not enough to overlook the shabby interiors.
High price and low quality
Best cooks
The food is.... well really really good... I highly recommend to visit this place if you are in Abu Dhabi.... Located in a nice community with great sightseeing.... I highly recommend the Vanilla Crunch French Toast... I garentee you that you will love it...
The location, setting and service is great. Giving the place amazing chance to impress. But as with all cafes or restaurants, thats not the main attraction, the food. Thats what matters personally. I ordered the country friend chicken burger, and my partner ordered baked salmon. The burger to be honest is not the hardest plate of food to make. It was ok but the bun was not fresh and same can be said about the welcome bread the waiter served us with when we first sat down. No salt or pepper or butter with the bread either, just olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The burger consisted of nothing but cabbage, onions and the fried chicken. Im not sure if there was a sauce but if there was i couldnt taste it. And the onions were so overpowering to the point where you couldnt taste anything else. It came with fries that were cold and over-seasoned with a big amount of salt. The salmon was actually cooked really well and tasted good. It came with asparagus which was great but the other side was sweet potato mash and there was A LOT of it, definitely too much for the portion of salmon served. The spicy sauce that came with the salmon plate was actually the best thing i tried here, so good job on the sauce.Overall, the food was not good but also not very bad which makes me want and maybe give other food a try. But for my first visit, i would sum it up as the food was not worth the money we paid for it.
The steak didnt have any taste. The prawn and rice was too bland. They dont seem to really care about customer satisfaction. I told the waitress about the steak and she just apologized and thats it. The chef didnt even bother to come check what the issue was. The waitress even forgot to provide simple wet wipes and toothpicks until we requested them. I am not sure if we will go back there again.
The location is good but the place is not clean. You can see stain on chairs and table smells like rot towel. The cup of tea seems cleaned with dirty cloth, smell bad. The food is very very basic, not tasty. Nothing special about this place. Food is great to post in social media ONLY.
Cozy cafe. Big portions. Healthy food. Nice terrace. Only chairs not really comfortable on a terrace.
Food is modest.. coffee is lousy .. place seems to be understaffed as orders take long time..
High quality food, and healthy. You get what you pay for, honestly.
It used to be the best breakfast spot in the city. Sadly, recently standards have sharply declined. Today in the main guest area two employees were sat to peel potatoes. There were only 4 people eating in the restaurant, yet waitress seemed to busy to attend our table after we finished the meal. Hash brown will get you stomachache cause potatoes are completely raw inside. Nothing from Starters was available apart from guacamole and chips. Overall, rather disappointing dining is experience comparing to the price. Right now the sea salt chocolate is the only reason we keep coming back.
A quiet place. However I didnt like anything I ordered. We had charcoal pancake, French toast and coffee. there is no attention to cleanliness. I would go back for coffee and to read a book. Otherwise not too exciting.
I love their nachos chips with the guacamole dip its super tasty! I could have it everyday !Their lobster pasta is delicious 😋🦞I always order those 2 dishes every visit 👌🏼
The coffee was OKThe dessert was OKGood location, staff and service
Food was ok, but poor customer service. Asked several staff several times if a simple pancake dish could be modified for children. Staff just could not deviate from the menu even when all that was required was a small change. Eventually had to speak to head chef to have ricotta removed from pancakes. No idea why place is advertised as kid friendly; no child menu and no child drinks available, and not accommodating at all
Great
I ate here a long long time ago, or maybe it was last weekend, i dont know this place is just that forgetable. I may not remember when i ate there, but i definitely remember the experience. Mediocre overpriced cuisine that masquerades as fine dining. Kind of like taking a cheap escort to a ball. If anything, i would recommend making a run for it when the bill arrives. The 2 hours of dish washing is better than paying the price for the quality you get. All in all i gave it two stars, and thats just cause the weather was nice that day.
The food is very good. The waitstaff struggles a bit, but they are very pleasant. However, it is important to know they have a policy that does not allow you to use more than one coupon per table. In a party of four we had an Entertainer and a Zomato Gold. The waitress and supervisor, both said their policy is to use only ONE per table. They did take both but explained they would not do so again. Be aware if you are in a party larger than 2.
Its located at a good spot, you will enjoy the surrounding and sitting outside and having mirage of sea view. Talking about the Cafe I had a Pineapple passion fruit juice and enjoyed the taste. I found staff humble and sweet with a smile on their face. Would give a second try for sure, this time ill try main course instead of just cold beverage.
Decent cafe with nice coffee.
Its a great place with a nice vibe to it.. They have amazing Lobster and a great steak sandwich. I always order their Nutella hot chocolate at night especially when the weather is good outside (they even put mini Marshmallows in them). Overall its a nice chic place to go for a breakfast lunch or dinner. Highly recommended
Menu was very limited. Coffee was brought at room temperature. Despite being empty, the waiter forgot to place our order. Their sizzling cookie dessert was awful. The boneless bbq chicken appetizer was chewy and not tender.
Favorite private spot... Nice view and very good food. Staff are very friendly and welcoming
Good food, good ambienceLove Bateen!
Very quite place with great vibe and delicious food 😋
Just an absolute gem of Abu Dhabi. Great food, great service and excellent ambience. If you do visit and happen to have a sweet tooth, dont forget to try the Toffee Skilket Cookie... Its easily one of the top desserts in the capital.
Quite and unique
Food very basic and not teasty . Customer service very poor and slow. They dont give attentions to guest
Great place
I took my breakfast and it was good restaurant 😋
I had a lunch at this restaurant on 22 December 2014. I had salad as Im vegetarian. I was very disappointed in how terrible presentation of the salad and it was very dry. The vegetables were all dry and looked old.I mentioned to the waitress that is was terrible and she said that is the way the salad is meant to be.I paid and left without eating most of it and Ill never go back there.Im a resident of the apartments in which this restaurant is situated.
Friday afternoon, just a couple of tables with customers.Very polite staff. However, beef burger for 68 dirhams was just of average taste but beautifully served in a metal tray. They forgot my drink. When I asked for mayo, it came in a tiny glass jar, which was interesting but filled just under half which made dipping the french fries an impossible mission.Everything could be better.
Amazing food. Beautiful interiors. Excellent location and views. Really nice ambiance. Must try if youre in AD!
Great coffee and food. Friendly staff. Outdoor seating right on the water
The place is stylish , quiet and the staff are helpful. coffee is perfect , the dessert ( Banoffee) is delicious, they have free valet parking and it’s a short walk from the cafe .
Looks good but when comes to quality of food its not that much good e.g. eggs served not hot .
We were not sure at first how good this place would be because it was almost empty. We were pleasently surprised. The food was good. Staff were friendly... and we had a good deal from Groupon. Thank you A.S.
One of the best breakfast restaurants 🥞🍳Delicious blueberry pancakes
Excellent service, beautifully presented tasteful food. Lovely Ambience. Very much recommended.
The place was dirty when i visited them.
Excellent service, and extremely good quality food. Portions are on point, definitely coming back again for breakfast
Nice cafe, nice view, not very crowded
Good enough and tasty food
Pleasant ambience, light interiors, friendly staff, good food but slightly on the pricey side. The burgers were excellent and a certain tea with lavender was refreshing.
Everything was great, except the customer service. The waitress gave me the menu and never came back to ask about the order. It happened twice, once with the main course and once with the desert. Also, I asked a lady if she could provide me with some tissue, I felt as if I insulted her, she ignored me. The host was great though.
Great food but the place has died out a bit...not as busy as before
I think the place is getting better so far since my last visit concerning the food . Keep it up in that direction
Quality Cafe witg a good menu. Also on the entertainer
This place had a posh ambience but failed to impress with the food. We had buffalo wings and mexican grilled chicken which were just average. We ordered a dessert named pavlova that came with edible flowers and berries in whipped cream which was a disaster and overpriced
Food and coffee were okay.
