Really cheap, books quality is amazing, and overall I highly recommended store.The books are sorted, but sorted isnt the right word to use, youll have to search a lot to find something, but youll find some hidden gems along the way

As a student, this is the best place for me to explore my literary interests at the most affordable prices. My only regret is that I didnt find this store sooner! My dad had to basically drag me out if the store. With cabinets hidden behind rows and rows of books, this little store has hidden gems all over!

A terrific little shop, bursting at the seams with great novels, childrens books, and some interesting hidden gems. On my recent visit to stock up on a few novels there was a very knowledgeable staff member who made some great recommendations for books to try. Just about finished the latest batch of books and Ill be back there soon for more! Id much rather go and buy my books at Thrift Bookstore where they genuinely know their stock and can give you great advice. Stay away from the large book-stores, try this shop instead.

Its a nice place to find old books. But of course you cannot guarantee that you will find a book that you are looking for. You can always ask someone their to inform you if they receive the book you are interested in.You can also exchange your books there. Usual price ranges from 5-15Dhm. For hardcovers you can expect to pay upto 40Dhms.

Ahmed has a very good knowledge of the books available and catered to all our needs. Be prepared to rifle through the books but worth the visit!

Lovely used book shop tucked away behind Royal Rose Hotel. Nice to browse, warm, friendly service. Nice to know it’s there.

This book shop is a gem for students and teachers. one can find competition preperation book to engineering books and a lot more. also there is a huge collection of great novels well arranged. This is one of the best book shops in Abudhabi. Especially their exchange policy makes this place even better.

To the owner of this book store: one star is an honour for you. Yay. With countless complaints and reviews stating that the store in unorganized, they seemed to have ignored them (if theyve ever read them!)As we walked in, the shelves were a sight to behold as there were lines and lines of books. Unfortunately, its up to you to scour each book as there is no concept of genre division there. We randomly selected a few which the shop boy told us were 5 each with the exception of one for 10. As we are about to pay, the sloppy disgruntled owner (?) hikes up the price, telling us the boy is from a different shop. We tell them we can call Consumer Rights to settle it as they cant change prices last minute, and he says Call, call now without a care in the world. My husband gave him an earful before we left the books there and left the shop empty-handed.

Its nice that you can get books for cheap, but theres no way to actually find a book that youre looking for because the place is not organized in any way.

So the other day I called the store and asked them if they buy books. The owner said yes,so the next day I went and carried a very heavy backpack filled with books to sell. After a few miles walked in the heat I get there and they tell me that they dont buy books,I waited for the owner and he called the store and said that it was a misunderstanding and that they only exchange books. Well Im sorry buddy but thats not the way things work,you were miss leading and not informing on purpose in hopes that you might get more business,you dont deserve even 1 star for that.

5 layers of books ... rich set! The books are not categorized well ... but, the low prices make up for the inconvenience by a long mile!!!

I went there to look for books from a specific genre. The guy who was in the office did nit even care to ask if i needed anything. i asked him where to find such books and he just told me (without coming out of the “office”) to search for it myself. two to three more guys came and nobody assisted me..the books were not arranged at all! they could have at least segregated the books by genre.

Its a good place but the problem is its tiny and the moving shelfs are too heavy to move so i kept asking the staff about helping me up and he was too nice to me ..umm for the price its pretty good tho however if you’re going there to find a book ur searching for u must give up or you will find it if u were lucky enoughhowever i really recommend u to visit the place its perfect for ppl who like reading or searching for there books by themselves

Let me start with stating that I am glad that we have such a bookstore in abu dhabi, well done. However, I was disappointed for two reasons; 1) when I called the bookstore today I was greeted with a huh sound, which made me believe that I had dialed the wrong number. I responded with: is this the thrift bookstore? He responded: yeah. He seemed oblivious to the fact that you dont answer a business call with a grunting sound and then remain silent, its just not good business practice. 2) I asked him if he had a certain book, to which he told me that the books were not in any order and that I would need to come down and look. I asked him: you mean the books are not categorized? History, biographies, fiction, religion, etc. He told me no. you mean I would need to walk through rows of randomly filed books to find what I am looking for? yes. I thanked him and then advised him on the etiquette of answering the phone for a business. He seemed to understand (?), and then said that they were working on organizing the books. I thanked him and hung up. Hopefully they will get the books organized into sections/categories, and get their customer phone service down correctly. I look forward to visiting when the former is completed.

This place is great for all book lovers on a budget. It has a HUGE selection of book across all genres. Id rate it a 5 if only the books were more organised because as it is right now I doubt youll find the book you want without the help of the shop keeper, who is pretty good at what she does and is very helpful when need be. Id definitely recommend you to check it out if youre a bookworm or you just want to start reading books like me.

It has some cheap books like 10 Dhs, and you can exchange your books there but its not organized so you could be searching there for two hours and got only one good book.

This place has a wide range of books in all fields, but the books are not organized not categorized, just displayed randomly. So you have to invest some time looking between the shelves till you can find what you want. Also, the owners dont know what books they have or which authors.
