The best madfoon/zorbian/mathbi place to me

Sit back, relax and enjoy, as we take you to explore yet another cuisine of the world...This time its was the Yemenis cuisine in the city... The restaurant takes you back in time.... so Take a seat,  Unwind and  Step back in time⏳ ....As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the staff and were directed to a private family seating area which was reserved for us. The restaurant also has the traditional setup where one can enjoy their meal sitting on the floor. (Really takes you back in time and the old tradition comes alive).The special spread included:- BESBAS traditional Yemeni sauces- CUT SALAD- FATOUSH (A mixture of fresh vegetables served with house dressing topped with crispy bread and drizzled with pomegranate).- MARAQ LAMB SOUP- GRILLED SEABREAM FISH (well done to petfection).- ZUROBIAN RICE (A unique rice full of aromatic flavors)- MANDI CHICKEN  on beshawar rice and Kabsah rice Chicken was very  juicy and placed on a bed of these flavored rice).- MATFOON MEAT in a banana leaf(served on rice, so succulent and very tasty).- MATFI SHRIMP (a smooth thick gravy, with lots of shrimps and served in a hot pot)- HANEETH ( Marinated in traditional spices, the meat pieces are cooked in tandoor).- MIX GRILL (minced mutton Kebab and Tikka with Chicken Bites).- MULAWAH BREAD- RATAB BREAD- HAMOOSDessert :KHUNAFA (Kunafa dough with a creamy cheese filling drizzled with sugar syrup).Each dish was very well presented, full of flavor and aromatic. The traditional Yemeni sauces on the sides blended in so well ... we loved the besmes sauce.... The staff are very friendly and are very quick with their service.Mr. Rafet has been very friendly and made our dining experience at the #besmesrestaurant a memorable one!..A 5/5 for :- Great ambience,- Delicious food,- Friendly staff,- Prompt service!

Very nice food. Delicious. Welcoming staff. Place is clean and comfortable. I was with a group 5 adults and 3 kids place booked for is was comfortable spacious. I will recommend to call in advance if you need for big group as they have limited tables

Worth trying, pretty good. The yoghurt based sauce needs to be less spicy. Prices are a bit high too.

Best restaurant I’ve been to in Abu Dhabi. They specialize in Yemenite and Gulf food but offer a few Persian BBQ dishes to boot.Very friendly service and a special shout out to my Egyptian homes, Mohammed. Very kind and I had a good conversation with him about his home country and how crazy the heat is in the UAE.Highly recommended.

The food is not bad.. 2 waiters Hassan and Hamid are good.. this was my impression during my first visit on Tuesday 20/042021.. My second visit was the next day Wednesday 21/04/2021 during iftar time.. I felt it was not the same service and not the same quality of food.. essentials which should be available on standard table in a restaurant were not there for example there was no tissue box.. as a customer I dont have to as for such things.. I realized that this restaurant is good when there is few numbers of customers.. I was happy on Tuesday but disappointed on Wednesday thats why instead of 4 stars and in order to be fair this restaurant doesnt deserve more than 3 stars which I gave..

After ordering few dishes for our Office lunch party I got to know about this yemani restaurant. It was the dish called Haneedh (Meat marinated in yemeni spices and wrapped in banana leaf and grilled) which made me want to try more dishes from this restaurant. After few days I decided to go for a take away and ordered for Moqalqal which is a meat dish cooked with yemeni spices served with rice and also I had zurbiyan rice which was more flavorful. By the time I reached there Haneedh was sold out hence I need to visit the restaurant again to try it. Overaĺl a good choice of restaurant for meat lovers as the meat is served in generous amount and texture is fall of bone.

The aroma of saffron make your mouth watering for sure. This is the meat mandi (72dhs). The mutton which is slowly barbecued is soo juicy and tender. This is enough for 2pax.

The Real taste of Yemen ..

This is a branch of this chain of Yemeni restaurants. Good decor. Food portions are generous. Food quality is above average. Wide range of Yemeni Cuisine available all day (many other Yemeni restaurants have different dishes for different times). Price is higher than the standard for Yemeni restaurants. This branch is clean and spacious and has table and floor dining options. Yemeni bread is baked fresh, available all day and is delicious. Side servings are tastier than standard. Its worth a try.

Just delicious.. the complimentary meat soup, food, and tea, wouldve given 5 if the chicken was a little more done (just make sure to tell them you want it very well done), and if they served more vegies on the side. One of the special things I dont find in many mamdi places is that they serve different rice flavors depending on the cooking type, many other places just serve one or two type of rice.Havent tried dessert yet.

Tried the Chicken Madghout and the Anari chicken along with Fattoush and Hummus. The Madghout was absolutely amazing and the Chicken Anari was definitely something I have never had before and I loved it. The Fattoush was on point and the hummus was just average. Nice place for a nice comfortable lunch or dinner for sure.Ambience: This place has an amazing atmosphere, plenty seating and nice place to chill.Service: The service is slow but I think it is worth the wait. The staff is great though.Food: The food was great. Everything tasted amazing and so flavourful. Nothing about it is not-to-like.Location: The location is perfect. Easy access and lots of parking.Recommendations: Definitely will be going back here for some more of the amazing experience.

I had a chance to try BesBas breakfast in the friday morning sometime ago and now almost every week im going friday to have a very tasty breakfast of Kebdah with eggs and slice of freshly baked arabic bread. Very tasty and cheap price. Highly reccomend to all. So far this is the most tasty Yemeni cousin I had ever tasted. I like the restaurant atmosphere, the gentle staff and the good quality. I definitely recommending this restaurant for others to try it. Im planning to revisit it again soon.

Laham madfoon is so tasty...
