Upscale Japanese dining. Very fine plate presentation and quality of ingredients & preparation. Overall quality is consistent in all my visits. The prices are high but comparable to similar level restaurants in Abu Dhabi. Restaurant ambiance is great. Compared to other Abu Dhabi restaurants, Koi is a 5 star place.

Austin the manager was very helpful. The food is unreal, one of the best in Abu Dhabi for sure! The service was slow. The atmosphere was great!

We wnet to koi for Friday brunch which opens 12:30 to 16:00..it is nice expect the miso soup is a little salty and tempura is very different from the Japinese one.

We went here for my Birthday and went for the Gochiso Brunch at Night. Absolutely amazing food and service. The sushi is incredible. If you like 5 star Japanese food this is the place, also very reasonably priced for what you get. Shame there is not one in the UK.

I had Friday brunch and it was great. Nice interior and mood, very friendly staffs, much better than expected. Recommend reservation, quite crowded. We thought it was buffet but actually they served all of food on the menu and you can ask more.

My fav japanese in abu dhabi!

Easily one of the best brunches in Abu Dhabi. From the fresh sashimi, to the free flowing sake. to the tempura shrimps, to the salads, honestly I could go on. In my several visits, I have yet to come across a single misstep at Koi. From being greeted by your server with a chilled towel to dessert and final call, everything moves flawlessly. The service is excellent, and the prices fair for what you are getting. I cannot recommend Koi highly enough.

Probable one of UAEs best Japanese. The lobster avocado salad and the Mackarel sashimi are a must try.

Amazing food with great ambiance. Try the dragon sushi, the amazing lobster tacos, super made to perfection edamame, their apple orange juice.

The overall experience was great .. the staff are friendly and well trained.The rolls were average.Go for the Lobster tacos .. short ribs

Their presentation of food is great. It does taste ok, but not better than other sushi restaurants I have been to.

One of my favourite restaurants in Abu Dhabi, amazing service and ambiance and the food is incredible. Highly recommend the cod or the tiger prawns. Definitely get the molten for dessert!!

Superior Japanese cuisine in a smart well set ambience. Visited the koi restaurant for dinner and was treated to the best sushi i have had in a long time. Grilled Japanese eggplant was superb to say the least .. must must try The takikomi rice ( rice prepared with asparagus and mushrooms in a light sauce and customized spice levels) is a must try as well. thanks

By far the best dinner i ever had. Although also the most expensive, it was worth every penny. The rabato kobe was outstanding!

We had a great time here! The staff was very friendly and efficient! The food was really good! The sushi was quite simple, but fresh and our main dishes were great, we really enjoyed it! The only thing that put us a bit off was the wooden chop sticks, you don’t want to get a splinter in your month. Apart from that we really enjoyed it. Koi is my happy place and one of my favorite restaurant in Abu Dhabi. From its interior, romantic setup, perfect lightning down to its amazing sushi and beautiful selection of wines, I just cant get enough. We had the best service from Menchie. She always give us her warm smile and very attentive to all our needs. I can really say that this girl knows and love what shes doing. I will never get tired of coming back here and will recommend to more of my friends!

Great place for dinner and celebration such as anniversary and birthdays. They have a very wide range of food and drinks.EVERY MONDAY THEY HAVE 50% OFF THE MENU (selected items).. I personally visit the place in weekly bases easy to find and navigate and vales service available from the Saint Regis hotel

The food here is amazing - the portions are large so dont order too much! Everything was delicious, so hard to say what our favourite was - we did really enjoy the dragon rolls. The service is excellent and we had great recommendations on sake pairings. The lighting is low, which makes for a romantic ambiance, but can make it hard to read the menu! Highly recommended for a special night out.

Aesthetically beautiful scenery, sensationally breath taking, good and nicely prepared Japanese food, a place to visit again.

The food was good. But the hostess did not even show us where to be seated. The hostess was on the phone, just look at us up and down and did not even bother.

2nd brunch here and its amazing. You could eat at zuma and nobu if you want to spend 3 times as much for a quarter of the amount of food and drink, but the quality is basically the same. Service is actually better. Not your typical brunch, you dont need to leave your seat, youre given various dishes and if tou like something you can always ask for more of it. Perfect way to discover new dishes you might otherwise never try. Seriously value for money in this age of all you can eat average stuff.

My date take me here for a brunch and it is highly commendable, from the staff, ambiance and food - all are remarkable. definitely coming back for Miso Black Cod.

Service is great. Food is just okay, better sushi is served elsewhere. I found shrimp shells in the tempura shrimp maki rolls, the first time I see such a thing in sushi in my life. Sushi feels heavy and rice is a little tasteless. Spicy tuna is simply okay. All the food could be better.

Dissapointing! Koi has a big name and we had high expectations.....the describtions on the menu is mouthwatering but the cook use the cheaper possibilities for all courses! For example... shrimps (tempura) you get the small ones in a glass and a (not so) spicy sauce instead of good shrimps. The starters where all together not to bad but mains had nearly no taste. Lamb was very fat.Staff is polite but cannot smile or do on small talk.Not again for us!

The service was awesome. The food was hit and miss but screaming children at 2130 on a Friday? Not good. Also the restaurant was taking publicity photos during our visit without permission. And they have a problem with the a/c. So I wont rush back.

I have never in my life had bad sushi until I came to this place. I couldnt believe that an upscale restaurant had such bad food. It was such a waste of money. The place itself is nice, lively ambience especially for a romantic meal or a celebration with friends. They also had good music but thats the only good things i can say about this place. Ive had sushi in many different countties at many different price points but this by far the bottom of the list.

The most tricky japanese restaurant in the world maybe?... hmmm i rather pay 200AED for a tasteless salad than visit this place again. The people who give high reviews for this place, they tryin to act like casuals and show off like they are gentlemen. However, if you really wanna eat a nice and sense able japanese food eith good price and tasty, I recommend you to go Samurai or Sushi story with average prices and really juicy taste of food.

Food is very good, especially appetizers.Music was generally very nice but could be loud at times (especially when place is almost empty).Service is medium. We used entertainer coupons but were cheated; waiter insisted even though I explained to him how he cheated us.Definitely not worth the money

My favorite in Saadyat!!

We ate twice at Koi during our stay at the St Regis and it is safe to say it is one of the better options at the resort, just a stone throw from the lobby.Sushi, California Roll and lamb were excellent the first night. Mochi and Tapioca desserts too. Spicy chicken and waggyu short ribs a bit less convincing the second night. But overall very good value for money, served with attention and a smile.One caveat: wine selection by the glass underwhelming.Still if you are tired of Sontaya or 55&5th, Koi is a very enjoyable option.

A la carte menu is good, but a little expensive. The best option is the friday brunch. Food never stops coming, and you can use Entertainer vouchers!

Food: Went to the original in LA several times. Appetizers and mains were great, however the sushi rolls were a bit of a disappointment. Rice over cooked and fish had no flavor.Atmosphere: For a Friday night it was a bit on the quiet side. We did go for an early dinner at 7pm though so it does tend to be quieter that time.Service: A bit slow at the beginning but we expressed our concern to our host and he was quite attentive.Overall I would still recommend a visit.

Not a fan of asian cuisine i was pleasantly surprised of the venue and found some delicious vegetarian options. Located on fabulous Saadiyat island,just few steps away from St.Regis resort. Indoor and outdoor seating options.Very cosy and intimate .Great food,attentive staff.There is a bar area in case you dont feel like dining but just hanging out with friends.
