The place is a gem in Abu DhabiSuitable for kids and adults..The library is beyond amazing it has everything from books, place to study, place to do research and place for kids go play..they also have prayer room and gallery along events happen every now and thengreat experience👏🏻💜👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

We are so happy that the library is finally open to children again. My 3.5 year old was so happy he did not want to leave. He loved to explore the Creature space. It was his favorite spot. Heads up, sadly the dunes are closed for COVID precautions. We were able to borrow 7 books on his card. Love that as before it was only 3. So excited to visit weekly.

Very arranged place for kids to explore, read, play and have some fun time.

I attended this amazing venue to see the Argentinian dance troop Che Malambo.The performance was spectacular and the amphitheater was so impressive .After the show I wandered around the gallery with its mesmerizing exhibition, I was in awe of the beautiful Arabic art I could have stayed all night. I then decided to have something to eat at the cafe called Wild and Moon unfortunately they had stopped serving hot drinks and hot food, I just had a salad and a organic juice which was still delicious. Such a great venue and well worth a visit.

Beautifully appointed exteriors and interiors. A fantastic example of maintaining the spirit of the 70s and 80s by careful restoration and renovation. This place has tremendous history and their programming and events have been very promising. Just wish they had more food and beverage options than the current hipster/expensive/vegan space.

From the outside, I didnt expect the beauty of the building within!3 free exhibitions, the abstract art wasnt really my thing, but the mural exhibition was amazing.We went on a Friday, but apparently there are various sessions during the week, calligraphy, art etc. And the childrens library! Even just looking in made me want to be a kid again.And finally, the staff, so attentive and helpful!What can I say? I loved it!!

This is our 3rd time at Cultural Foundation but our first one at their Childrens Library. Positively impressed by their well designed facilities across 3 floors. Spacious, well organized and lively. Unmissable is their souvenir shop with a combination of artistic and Emirati pieces.The concession restaurant on the ground floor is a nice option , specially for the health-conscious ones.The line up of performances for this season looks good. Some plays will be in Arabic.

Amazing place ☺️

Very nice place inside the complex of the Qasr Al Hosn historic sight, which is my favorite place in Abu Dhabi.It has big library for children, Theater, exhibition space and space for Artists to work, have workshops etc. One of those workshops is Ikebana, Ohara school.

I love this place a lot it has a wonderful and calming theme, more than that the art fairs are amazing. The team that work there are soo kind and joyful. And they provide different Art class.It deserves to vist.

Womderful place for art lovers

The childrens library inside cultural foundation building is one of its kind, there are a lot of activities to improve the mental ability of childrens, which includes games, reading different books, virtual reality games, Creating animations, creating our own cartoon, VFX animations (assisted), all these are focused in brain development of children not just entertainment, and best part is, it is completely free

Superb place - amazing luminous exhibition - guide gave us tour - New Childrens library really beautifull nice books collection- membership fee 400 dhm in case if someone wants to borrow

Part of the art history of the country where they display some of the works of the local artists. Worthy paying a visit to understand the art scene. At this time of our visit the rooftop cafe and theater were not open to the public yet .

Gorgeous. I came with my best friend to see a japanese musical show at Al Hosn festival and had an amazing time. Spectacular and so wonderfully designed

Amazing place ever for children’s, parents

Just amazing architectured place most visit if you come to Abu Dhabi, this place is all about art and the area full of cultural atmosphere you will love it. Coffee shops is all around the area.

Lights were annoying to the audience eyes but other than that all was great! Location is amazing. And available free parking!I wish they make an area for standing audience as some. And (wust elbalad where I posted the photo) are more of dancy bands

Best Library for Kids

We visited the children library quite often and it was really a fantastic library and environment and activities organized ..I suggest to have more libraries for teenagers and adults as well in order to spent time on readingsGreat job ..

Stunning building and area. The revamped Hosn area is gorgeous. The original fort (obviously) and the Cultural Foundation buildings are still as they always were with a few changes in the latter. But the surrounding area has finally settled with an amazing design after many attempts in previous years.A must visit when the weather cools down towards the end of the year. They have workshops year-round and I believe some exhibitions so you could always check those out (nice for kids and artists).But for exploring outside and the fort, I highly suggest doing it in the winter. Beautiful architecture and planning.Theres a couple of places to grab a bite. Espresso Lab for a cafe sitting, and Wild & the Moon for more food options (all vegan too!).

Lovely place

Modern, clean. I just wish people were more respectful of the space, and children would be more quiet and disciplined after all this is a library and not an amusement space. There must be more rules set. I understand it is for children and I have been to many around the world. Quietness and peacefulness are priority.

Such a wonderful place. I learnt the exhibitions are not permanent and change from time to time so one never gets tired of going there. On the second floor of the exhibition centre I encountered a wonderful pianist who at your request can play a wide variety of music ranging from classical to Arabic to Italian....name it. Dont forget to request her to play you her own Arabic composition.There are also guided tours upon request. Its simply amazing.

A very beautiful building. Outside it looks quite minimal and simple, but the interiors are amazing, the courtyards and exhibits are great, as well as the libraries that can be a great activity for the children and there are also a couple of places to sit and eat.

What an absolutely beautiful venue. Attended the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra event and really enjoyed it. In addition they also have a really nice healthy foods cafe, childrens library (one of the best in the world) and other major attractions within Qasr Al Hosn (which is right next door). It looks beautiful!

The best place ever, well organized, full of activities for all ages. Prestigious art and cultural events take place on regular basis. The reopening makes ADCF one of the most important places in Abu Dhabi.

The Childrens library is absolutely spectacular. There are giant wooden camels and a 4x4 used as a reading bench, we absolutely loved it. The selection of books is also great.

Superb...the essence of the original Cultural Foundation Complex is so well maintained, the external areas and spaces are so well done. The activities are par excellence. A great place to be.

Its a must visit for the whole family it got something for everyone. They have a nice vegan restaurant that offers many vegan options that are healthy and tasty at the same time.

Childrens Library was excellent. The staff were interactive and very helpful. Arts exhibition was good too.

The performance I saw was mixed. Some parts great and others not so. But really marred by lack of etiquette amongst the audience. Lights from smartphone screens throughout filming it and then chatting away on WhatsApp or whatever. They really should monitor it more. I must say that the officials on the front rows set a real example. Just a shame others didnt follow suit and the staff let it go.

You need to pay this place a visit if you are in abu dhabi! it gives great insight into the culture of uae and the local artists! its a good experience for those who are inspired by art!

The decor and ambience is authentic Beduine and has the old world charm and most noteworthy is the old photographs and the food and service are excellent.
